Do you need to equip this to cast the spell?

Just stick to the added mana(70) and you'll understand the worth.
I just got a bracer and leggings today. I read alot of posts about faction and just wanted to put in my experience:
I spent about a week killing giants in GD (only play a few hours every night). Seemed that I was never going to get about aimiably when conn'ing the wolfmasters in GD. So, went to quest npc to see what he thought of me. I got "considers you kindly" when conn'ing him and when I hailed him, he gave me the quest info, so I gave it a shot. I handed over the eroded bracer and the 3 crushed opals. Got my exp, my faction, and my bracer. Then, my friend who was with me was an ally, and we multiquested (successfully) for my leggings.
Everything worked out great...very happy druid.
ps. I'll send in a screenshot cuz I don't think they look THAT different from the regular leather...hopefully Khazam's will put it up soon

Thats a cool effect, the armor is really nice, but having the extra little kicker port spell is fun.

These used to look like normal leather, but as of yesterday's patch these are now bright green.

i believe its leather and who cares what it looks like, it has 7 wis 70 mana, and it procs. i would love to upgrade my kromriff military leggings to these heh, very nice item.

What does this stuff look like, is it the crappy leather look or chain?
It looks like the darker leather with gold / green embroidery throughout.
Edit: They have changed the look of it with Luclin. It's almost like a dark green leather looking thing.. It's kind of hard to explain. Atleast - That's what it looks like on a Wood-Elf Male.

So why doesn't someone take a screenshot if you know what it looks like? Just press the - key. It's obviously something people would like to know, regardless of the piece's worth without the looks. Not a flame, but a request. Tired of seeing long threads of "how it looks" and "what's it look like" when so many people have seen it and noone will take a screenshot and just send it in.

And in particular, this effect. Circle of Misty. A group port... Ranger's have foolishly asked for port spells for years, and rightfully haven't gotten them aside from TD breastplate. Self port to LFay. Why is it that Beastlords are getting a group port to misty now??

VI made ALL druid equip beastlord equip, quite a time saver for them. They of course messed up.
But I don't think any druid is going to have to worry about a beastlord taking their stuff. (Since they can't EQUIP IT ANYWAY!!)

A pixie warder would be so cool. Don't warders get bigger as the beastlord gets higher in level? And what about that little sound pixies make when you hit them? Imagine a vicious giant pixie warder making that sound. I'm frightened!

Not only that but good druid equipment is rare at best, if not almost unattainable. Ok, Beastlord can only wear leather, great, does that mean they have to highjack a whole seperate class' stuff? Weak, and lazy.
Only thing funnier than ppl blabbing about facts that later become untrue is, they look even worse when you notice that they post the SAME THING on ALL the items....thank you for looking stupid, so no one else had to...

If u r going to wine get ur facts straight beastlords r not the only other class that gets to role on the leather armor. Monks get to roll on the leather also and most guilds won't let druids much less beastlords role on it until the monks r outfitted. If u want to complain go tell verant to up the drop rate on the armor.

he isnt talking about leather in general, but these druid specific thurg armor's...they all seem to be marked for beastlord also(least on this site, havent been in kael for a while to see for my self)
eroded leather legs drop most commonly from lvl 53+ giants in kael drakkel, chipped black marbles drop from wyverns in cs.
I've spent about 200 hours in kael arena where most of the armor drops and I've never seen leather legs drop, but i've seen every other piece drop, so just be prepared for a wait. It's all random luck... you could be there 10 minutes, you could be there 10 weeks.
It's possible to get leg drops pulling yard trash storm giants to wl zoneline for faction work after you cleared all the frost giants, but the chances of you getting leather legs there are about the same as getting struck by lightning.

My first night EVER in Kael (at level 44)...I just tagged along with the raid for Faction (I didn't really need it, but it was my first big raid exp, so I wanted to go)...I was the only leather wearer there! I got this within the first hour, and later got a Bracer...on my third night, I got gloves, though I'm waiting on getting Skyshrine version for the mana...
This armor all procs at level 45+, just like ES armor :)

Who gives a crap what they look like?! You people are so vain, even in a GAME. My god, go put on your nice graphic bs looking armor. Me, Ill get nice stat armor and overlook any leather or whatever it is and laugh when i see your pretty corpse.

Yeah too bad the cast time is huge, and by the time evac is called and the spell is cast, everyone in your group is dead. :P

I would like these leggings because misty is where I always port to to sell and bank (Rivervale). This would just save mana and memming the spell and all that mess :-)

A group of 6 of us went into Kael in hopes of armour dropping. 60 SK, 56 mage, 55 druid (me) 54 chanter, 55 necro and a 54 cleric. We went to the ramp leading into the Arena, and camped there.
Had no more than 2 at anytime and the chanter did a great job. No deaths and had great exp! The eroded dropped about 10 kills into the camp by the arena. He was pulled from the ramp area and I am now a proud owner of Rowyl's Greaves of Nature.
They are incredible, and for all that think that circle of misty is a dumb effect, think again. Free evav!

The gems for this drops off of wyverns in Cobalt Scar. Don't know what mobs in the other zones drop them.

Thanks for info on where to look for the leather. Not needing mana for a port/evac out is nice because I have been in situations where the decision to evac was made after I spent all mana trying to save the main tank.
I think you'll find upon reaching MT though, that only a couple will be joining you... the cast on evac seems like an eternity, and a circle spell?...yikes

The Corroded Leather is dropped off deeper giants in Kael Drakkan. This is also where the torn enchanted silk and the decayed plate and chain are dropped. To my knowledge, no gems drop in Kael Drakkan. However, we did pick up gems in Velketor's Labyrinth off the kobolds, in Icewall Keep off the sewer stuff (ice spikes, avalanche golems, frosticubes), and the gems apparently drop off Geonids as well. Sorry for the slow reply, I've been out of town for a week.

Ive been killing Wyverns and gotten assorted chipped and flawed gems including sahpire onyx and Jaundice gems in cobalt scar > Also crushed is off of stuff like Sentient armor in Wakening lands .
I've got various gems which I never got from the wyverns off of the haunted chests (3 there, which was not apparent until they improved druid tracking.. har har! (though its easy to bump into a horrible siren on the far away ones = ( )) and other gems off the othmir warriors.
Those sentients seemed camped way more than the stuff in cobolt scar on my server.

Actually gems also drop off the Wyverns, Haunted Chests and the walrus people in Cobalt Scar...they are pretty rare though. The best place I've seen for gem drops has been the Icewall Keep off the sewer stuff.

Heyas, Ive also had gems drop off the Suit of Sentinal Armors that are in Wakening Lands, they are a pretty rare drop, but drop none the less, would love to have some of these armor items, they rock!!!

I agree in the that it would be hard, but come on yourself! Why can't you quest for it yourself? Aren't we druids supposed to be THE most self-sufficient classes in Norrath? We can teleport, nuke, AND heal, plus damage shields, wolf-form, etc... And who can solo an entire outdoor camp of yellows and/or whites? US! The only other class near to us is the ranger, which is much harder. Believe me, i've played both. So stop complaining!

Hate to break the news, but they're leather. For those who're velious-enabled, I believe it looks like the Tizmak leather armor. Some neat scrollwork on it. For those without, it's leather. Plain, newbie-imitating leather.
Poor Ishmar (our druid with these) has been getting asked by non-velious armor why the hell he doesn't have Verm. You should see him simmer =)

As a Wood Elf, I can only wish they look like leather, everything else looks terrible on us. Since the pictures are a metal-type icon, they'll probably use the new chainmail graphics. I haven't seen that on a Wood Elf yet but I hope it looks much better than the old green and white crap.
The best thing about these leggings is that no matter how low your mana gets, you'll ALWAYS be able to teleport, even if it does take 16 seconds.

As a Wood Elf Druid, i must disagree with you. I hope they look like some sort of plate, or have their own special graphic. All you ever see druids in are a hodge podge of of plate and leather. If they were to give us somthing that "matches" other than Vermiculated, things would be better.
