Langseax of the Wolves  

 

I would love to get this sword, i have tried it about 15 times now, and having to donate for SOW and buffs, to combat Paglan, it is frusrating to keep getting Basil. How do you get it to trigger Paglan, and get this weapon?

I was like a LvL 16 Warrior, and I had just learned every language in the game. On Lanys T'vyl at least, it was a very cheap to learn skill as far as money goes (At least for non-humans, and if you play your cards right :) ), and very profitable. Well, I was just wondering around in East Commonlands, selling my skill for different prices for different languages, and this LvL 24 twinked Wood Elf Warrior sends me a tell. He said he wanted to learn everything I knew, with the exception of his normal skill in language. I said to him "Sure, gimme a sec to add up the total" It came out to be about 450pp. That may seem like a high price, but I was pulling people in for way more than that if they offered. Anyway, he told me to meet him in North Freeport cause he had to offload some stuff, and get the cash. Well, I taught him everything til' he was fluent in every language. He stands up and hands me like 150pp. At first I was furious for trusting him in teaching him these languages and getting ripped off. But then I saw a Tunic in the trade window. Then a sword. I thought, oh yay, a banded tunic which I am wearing one of the same type, and a 2HS sword. I inspected the first Item, the tunic, and I saw the stats before the name. Brigandine Tunic. This was great, and it matched perfectly was I allready had on. The sword I figured would just be Bronze or something. But no. It was something I had heard of, and thought it was such item, but had never actually seen it. It's name read Langseax of the Wolves. At the time, including the Platinum, this was a total value of about 1.8K pp. I was exstatic, and wore the Tunic and sold the Sword for about 300pp. This was at the dawn of Kunark, so things were of decent value from the orginal continents still. This is however a sad story. At Lvl 18, I died in Kithicor Forest by a run away gang of undead. I never got that stuff back. Un-twinked at LvL 18 and worth 3K. ( Swear to god, I'm got so lucky on that char.) I tried to teach Language again for the money to replace that stuff. But EQ put in some bug that made it take a ton longer to teach at that time. **** YOU EQ FOR ******** MY PERFECT PLAN!!!
