My Halfling Druid has found 7 of these while hunting in Misty Thicket. I just got the 7th one today before I reached Lv 5. I hadn't foraged any of them, but i guess they are easy to find if you are low to the ground. They look like green leaves laying on the forest floor.

I First did the rare plants quest before I started foraging this. why ? Well, that quest gives you a sword with a Skill Mod of Foraging +10%. Not much but all bits help.
And yes, it helped. Right the 1st two forages turned up to be what I was looking for.

I hope this helps you.

misty acorns

I only wish it as so easy to get them on The Rathe server I play on. I have seen them in our bazaar go for 25pp to 75pp each as of today so a stack will set you back 500pp to 1500pp this is not cheap. So you have to forage them, but with them going for such a high price i'm afrad ppl are going to go after them just to sell, making it even harder for ppl like me that need then for tailoring. I myself ran around Misty for 2hrs and was only able to get 5 acorns. Is there a pattern or PH for the acorns spawns?? or are they just random and can happen any place in the zone?

if someone can help me on this thank you!
vazaelle druid needs these

i am a druid from vazaelle server, and i need these for the vale armor to increase my master tailoring skill farther, they generaly sell for 1pp on the vazaelle server, thats pretty nice considering at first level all you have to do is run around and pick them up off the ground imagine being a first level character in rivervale with a ton of plat and not being a twink! all you have to do is pick em up stack em and give me a tell

I remember when I first started playing EverQuest. It was on the Vazaelle server, shortly after it went live. I learned the basics (as a halfling, of course), and, true to Teeppwin's word, these things were wonderful to find. You didn't have to forage them, you just had to keep an eye out for the ground spawn square (little green square). To think that high level halfling druids would give 20pp a stack for these! What riches for such lowly hobbits, such as were found in the thicket. From there, my halfling warrior's career built into the ever-powerful Merchant Class. He's since retired from Vazaelle, sitting on the docks, feeding the pirahna with Fiddy.

i have been finding these on the ground with my level 9 druid. i asked around to find out what they were for.. some people have told me they are used in druid-specific armor making, possibly using the new vale forge.. i'm not sure if this is true, but i would appreciate any information anyone could give me regarding this item.. recipes, etc.

I have found several of the Acorns on the ground - if you come out of Rivervale, head to the right and in the valley you will find Acorns on the ground. (looks like bags)..

The bags you are finding on the ground actually are spawned berries. These are used in a quest from the cleric guildmaster.

If the misty acorns appear as bags, that means someone has dropped them. They appear as green bits or leafs otherwise.

These are niether lore, no drop, or look like bags (unless someone picked it up and dropped it). There are found throughtout Misty Thicket as little dark green spots or patches on the ground. They are an ingredient in the Halfling Vale Armor also.

Could the coloration depend on your graphics settings? Or even lighting?
