Can I just make a comment? No one posting here, including myself, is going to get one of these. That mob takes an ARMY to even get to, let alone kill. If anyone but a caster or monk rolled on this I would personally hang them and beat them with a rusty warhammer. Besides, if you get to this dragon, you should pretty much KNOW who gets what.. -n

First of all, you dont roll on this IF you get it, it is awarded. why the hell would you say monks and casters roll? its purely caster robe, i would /d the first monk who even said anything remotely to roll on this and leave his corpse there. As a wizard, i would love this robe but chances are i wont get it, i will get robe of inspiration soon enough and that will be enough for me, my guild does sl33p3rs atm not VP although i would like to do VP soon, just to try it out. I still need a key for that damn place :(. Trak is too easy and noone really wants to do him anymore. Honestly, i have no idea why anyone would mention monk when involving this robe. I doubt a monk would even want it.

I'm sorry but if your a wizz going on a raid for this and tryed dueling a monk in raid gear you couldn't doanything to them anyways, maybe try to melee them but thats about it.As a monk i wouldn't take this anyways. There is better gear out there for me =)

With raid resist gear on him already him, a monk would own a wizzy in about 3 seconds flat. All the wizzy's spells would be resisted as he is meanwhile trying to channel through the monk hitting him about ten times each second. wizzy = ownt!

Roll? Monk? I would shoot any monk, as well, that somehow ended up with a +20 int +100 mana item. I hate to break it to you but low weight + all classes != monk. If I was on a guild raid and this dropped and a monk even tried to plead his case for why he should be awarded this over someone like, say, me *grin* or any other int caster there.... I would severly question his/her worth to the guild at all. The resists rule, but if a monk is willing to take away such a supremely awsome int caster robe for themselves... from a guildie, no less, I know I would not want them in my guild.

How nice...a robe, which is EQUALLY helpful to both casters as well as monks, given the way velious faction armors are, and the fact that this has as much or more ac than several of our best BPs....I can see how the int and mana and resists help you, but ac, hp and resists....stuff that helps the monk...that being said, the guild leader should either hold a roll, or award the item to a person as he sees fit...Also, you are a complete **** if you would question a guild mate who has stood by your side long enough to get this robe....its not easy at all. If a monk had no better, and the caster had a robe that was close to this, and took it over a monk, I would question THAT casters use to the guild....

You sound like a smart guy but this is a robe, first of all, monks look gay in robes. second of all, monks are entirely too greedy as it is. I am a wizard and therefore do consistent dmg on these types of raids. My lure spells and dragonbane do a ******** of dmg and honestly, these raids DO NOT exist without us because 5 wizards using DB, can dish out a f*ckload of dmg. Not taking away anything from other int casters because we all have our rolls to play, necro feeds cleric/wizards, magicians use their epic pets, and enchanters as tidious as it is have to buff everyone, yes everyone including C2 and GoB, VoG and shissar and runing. this is almost as much fun as porting people one by one to get to these damn long as ballz raids. Monks have other things in this place and if you havent noticed, most of the velious stuff weighs almost nothing so even though they are consistent dmg dealers too, monks will not, should not cannot roll on this. another thing. ROLLING WILL NOT BE A PART ON THESE RAIDS. if youre lvl 1-55, you will not be in a place like this(there are a few exceptions). most of this stuff is NO DROP so you cant buy it and anyone lucky enough to be told to loot it deserves it more than YOU. This is a zone that takes alot of preperation to get to. This isnt like guk or anything. This is tough f*cking **** which like someone said earlier takes an army to do.

Back on the subject, MONKS will be completely excluded from this, this is strikly an int caster item regardless of what it says and any guildleader smart enough would know who deserves it most. It sure as hell will never go to a melee before the casters so all you people, stop dr00ling and start flaming me, i dont care :)

um hello all this is a caster item might say all classes but no lewt master in there right mind would allow a non int caster to use the item becuase they are the ones that will get the most out of it only way i can see this item going to a non int caster is if none of the int casters wanted this robe for some reason just my thoughts

PD is the toughest dragon in vp, and that is saying a lot because this is a tough zone and takes a long time to learn. While a mob with 32 k - trak can be easy(kill him in about 30 seconds)- all the dragons in VP regen for 5k a tick. So if you say this dragon has 32k while you are right, you are also far off base. Try like 60k or so when you add in regen and such.

Ok here i thought Gnomes can only be spell caster types and that you can only go up to a level 60 guy.the only way to get to lvl 82 and be a monk gnome is if you hacked(Cheaters suck).

I was able to solo this creature with my level 82 Gnome Monk. It's easier than most people would imagine, actually, just run inside the mouth, use a potion of invulnerability, then beat the crap out of internal organs dual-wielding a Wurmslayer with a Blade of the Black Dragon Eye. Or you can just use a Mask of Deception - Illusion: Snarling Dragon's Pet. Whatever works for you.

The robe is the same pattern/texture as the Enchanter Insidious robe, but is a sky blue color.

According to www.eqdruids.com's item ranking this has a +20wis stat too.. are they mistaken (it's in their list twice so they may well be)

Any dumbass monk that looted this item should be shot and buried, this is OBVIOUSLY a caster only item, who else would use 20int? The sv's are an added bonus cause this robe is uber hard to find and obtain. Monks have enough **** as it is so SHAT UP YOU'RE ALMOST AS BAD AS THE PALADINS!!! ;)

ok, first off...me being only a lvl 29 wizard, i don't know too much about this, but if this robe was awarded to a monk, or a monk won it in a roll, i would immediately quit the guild, and personally kill everyone in it because they let a monk get it. Just because a monk CAN use it doesn't mean they should get it over a caster. We all know int helps skills go up, but being a caster, int=mana...and the fact that it has +100 mana...i would kill for this robe, and kill any monk that tried to get it. This robe was obviously put for casters, not melee'ers. Its next to impossible to get anyway, and the guild more than likely wouldn't attempt to get it very often, so it should definately go to someone who can put ALL the stats on it to GOOD use, i.e. an intellegence caster. i would chew a monks leg off for looting this as well.

Robes on ogres and trolls look sort of like someone painted their chests or a really tight fitting shirt. This isn't wearable by trolls or ogres anyway, but I'm an enchanter so I can change into one.
