Ground Spawn /Loc -65, -200, -275
Looks like a pouch, on the far side of the pool with the sword in the stone in the destroyed construct room (Look up you'll see gargoyles.. avoid those AoE spells or you'll get whomped!).
The Reddish Crystal has been there every time I enter the ruins.
Reccomended levels to get it;
Full Group; 45-48
Partial Group; 49-55
Solo; Pacify works if you have good timing.
2cp; Most mobs in the Hole on the way there do not hit too hard (30-130 dmg vs. AC 1250 on avg. with the occasional double) But they do have alot of HP (6000 HP or less) and most resist 50% damage from spells. Mobs are about levels 40-50 to the spawn point.

I just found one of these on the ground in the Hole.Where the destroyed constructs are.
Just picked one of these up in Splitpaw, towards the Hidden Gnoll area. Dont have a loc for you, sorry.

They moved it in a patch (smart move imo) no noobs grabbing it. Its now at loc 690,-10,-30, in paw thru first double doors and next door, jump off the bridge and left to yet another door, up ramp to water, over water on other side is the reddish crystal!

More directions....
Go to the gate on the way to the High Shaman. The one with the lever on it. Then go south following the the wall on the left and stop at the last water room. If you go down past the fire and through the door to High Shaman area, you have gone too far. It is behind the pillar of rock that is just behind the pool leading to Ishva.

Sat on this for about 3.5 hours and did not spawn. Has anyone else noticed a problem with this?

As of march 24th on tallon zek, no crystal for days, can not imagine that many people are grabing it off the ground,,,any new word on this item, rest of quest seems to be fine

I waited for around 2 hours, then just bound there. I gated before I logged for the night to check... no crystal. I logged on before work in the morning... no crystal.
Damn Verant for putting a quest piece with this long of a spawn time RIGHT in the path after the zone in. What noob isn't gonna grab it?

After about an hour I started to get the feeling that I had been taken and left. It was fun watching my pet Solo the trains that people were bringing in, and not even take 25% damage. LOL Even the healing mobs didn’t stand a chance. He (Level 54-water pet) was killing them with his DD spell, and to think I didn’t think it did any damage.
At one point I launched my 51 AE spell (608 Fire based) and killed the train but also a player (blue server) who was charmed. They didn't seem happy about it, but once I showed them they didn’t lose Xp they were not so upset. =)
I will say that if you wanted to mess with people, having them sit at the entrance of SP waiting on a phantom crystal, that would be a great way to do it. LOL

Camped the crystal for 6 hours now, no spawn. Are you sure about the location ??? Maybe Verant nerfed the quest, it seems to be too easy...

This quest was completed by my guildmate. I cannot find the stone either. He does have the focus and I did see it. I think they might have screwed up the items with a patch. I have given up.
