Scars of VeliousI was hanging aroung Thurgadin in the mines at around 38 or 39 and someone shouted to come get soem free boots.
I zone into IceWell and tada! there is a dead Dwarf. I loot and get one great item.

Got a pair for a warrior in guild tonight group consisted of me (51 druid) 45 ogre warrior 45 dorf pally and a 44 HE wizzy. Lol took alot of time with zonin back and forth but we managed to take them out one at a time took us 5 kills to get one drop tho :(
my guild... small it is right now.. anyway...
about 4 other melees came, all over level 45, me being the highest at level 52 at the time, with a 56 cleric and a shaman...
lets just say it didnt go well. Me being a paladin... could NOT stun,... could NOT root these guys... not because "it wont take effect" but, i dont remember the message but it says that they're immune to these spells. Also, some have said that these guys at Icewell keep have nearly 10,000hp's. Blue to 52... my foot. They're undercons if any.

Bring a healer of some type, druid, paladin, cleric, anyone. Cleric a must if you plan on fighting things deeper in castle. We were able to take down the sentries no problem with a 47 monk, 53 warrior, and 53 shaman.

According to the grapevine, these drop from the guards in Thurgadin. Still haven't been able to determine whether they drop from the Royal guards in Thurgadin B (Icewell Keep) or from the guards just inside DorfTown.

I was hunting the sentrys just inside the icewell keep zone and got the AC15 +5 STA +25 HP Royal Velium Frosted Guantlets....would guess the boots can drop off them too, but we got like 4 pairs of the gauntlets and some spells...but no other armor of this type...

yes the boots drop off the sentries,best way to kill them is to have one person drag both of them to the zone point then zone through then just hail one the other will walk back.the hit for 120-130 on a lvl 43 warrior so bring a cleric,mages rock on these because they can hit them with fire damage.with the new change though this will hamper alot of people from doing this because of the faction hit.the sentries also drop lvl 44 spells,sheilds,gloves,and boots.I killed about 40 and can still walk through town as only dubious,hehe i guess that;s why they changed the faction.
