Used it on a mob while on my bard. One charge only- but /shrug.
Bah! I got really excited when I looted this, I read ... thought it was an excellent proc... then I realised it was a one charge clicky. /sigh oh well, atleast I just killed him on passing :)

killed him at day time got 2 weapons and a rune one weapon no drop other is lore item
Just to clear up the confustion a bit-I killed the dead version the other night and the scythe that dropped was the same as the one pictured, not the one described above that. I know they say there are 2 versions, and that this is the weak one.
ok just killed this guy with 50 druid
the picture is right for the non quest one alla's stats printed above are right as far as damage delay for the quest one but it is also 10 vs dis and poison and has effect vampiric curse i believe, not sure actually what the effect was called. I had some help finishing him off he resisted alot and I was on a corpse run at the time. He was light blue. I let some lucky cleric in zone loot it. It dropped off the live version.

I camped and killed this foo and he droped both scythes and a heart. I think this might be a bug or somehting but its really freaky.

The picture DOES NOT MATCH the description
Yes this is the wrong scythe picture. Lord Grimrot living version drops TWO scythes. The lesser one is the 10 damage one. The no drop can be used for the cleric and paladin quest.

You should get the No Drop one from live version.
You get this Lore Scythe and a heart off the undead version, at least thats what I got.

so, necro's can't use Slash weapons PERIOD
Well, bards can't use 2hs, but it can still be equiped. Doesn't mean you'll be any good at it. Try it. They might have made it so you can't equip something you have no skill, but you never know. Example: Glowing Wooden Crook is 2hb, I decided to put it on my bard. No 2hb skill. It still worked. So, just because the class doesn't have the skill doesn't mean they can't equip it. If it says it, you can do it.
