Wrong, its a cloak. One dropped last night for my groups. Rogue won it for resist gear. Its not that great though.

Actually, if you think about how you wear a real cape or cloak, you do wear it on your shoulders. However, since most full sets of armor already have a mantle, or pauldrons, or spaulders (whatever they call it) on the shoulders, then they have to put the cloak in the back slot. Obviously they chose the wrong icon for this item, but then what's new, they do that all the time. And who says Verant has to follow any real life rules regarding how you wear things..

It would look funny wearing that thing on your back. The only reason i would wear it is because the stats, 9 ac 7 str 7 sta 7 mind resist. It may look funny but its good

Never judge a book's cover by the artist. or something of the loik. anyways Embroidered Black Cloak is shoulder slot, so is some MM thing I dunno what I'm talkin abouts. yup

Looking at the image, it appears to be a shoulder slot item, not a back slot item. Can anyone confirm this?

Well, images can be decieving sometime. Most of the "Capes" I've seen have been Back slot. If someone gets a hold of one, please post a new Screenshot now that the UI shows the item placement on the item info. BTW: Would be nice to have... More info would be appreciated... 8)
