I happened to be on a Kael raid with my paly when these dropped. Granted they aren't that great for a paly, but noone else wanted. It was surprising to me just because of their ac and the fact that almost any class can wear. I took them and put em on my druid. Nice piece...so now my lvl 28 druid has 180wis...woot
I dont belive these fit a BL...unless they changed the ones that drop now . The ones on my cleric dont say BL can use as these dont either..take another look at them above..
These are about the best sleeves that can be easily gotten for a beastlord. Good AC is looking to be hard to find for them, and the stats are pretty nice as well.
NWV's are only slightly better but you have to kill dragons and have the gems to quest them. Giant Scalemail Sleeves are far easier to obtain and are often seen rotting during arena raids as nobody seems to know how good they are.
Naturally, they knock the spots off of Thurgadin quest armor too. High AC, nice Wis and HP make these exceptional for your average taxi class.
GASP 2500? I was in thurg and found these on merchants for 14.5pp on sleaves and 8 on gloves I dropped them on my 12shaman or was going to give to a guildy. guess I keep them. they have a great black chain look on a barb 150chr on Povar at amiable to Coldian
You just got lucky....... There was this one time that I found a Tiny Coin Purse in a store in Freeport and it was only 23pp, come to find out that they worth was way more, I sold it for 1k! Okay here is the deal with these sleeves. It is the first time that I have been able to find something that I can wear as a druid that doesnt looking like leather. I like them because it gives me a chain look. I would also like to point out that the ac on these kick butt.
These are nice sleeves for the ac for druids, i had these but decided to give them to my guildmate who is a cleric, he was questing on his golden sleves so long that i said, here use these, better for you then the golden ones, btw these look like black chainmail,
Let's be serious here... now the healers will have to compete with crazy casters who seem to think they deserve this, just because they can wear it.
I don't care if you've got enough gear to take you over 200 Int... do you realize how hard it is for most Shamen, many Druids and some Clerics to get over 200 Wis?
Btw what do u mean will have to compete- is there a big market for Coldain Skulls? Kill them turn them in and get what you get- You are not rolling for it you silly people. Seriously doubt many int casters would bid to buy these- would just be a fun dress up thing if you got it randomly. Btw druids farm the cleric Sol Ro bracers to death and sell at inflated prices so do not go complaining about any prices if you want to play a farmer.

Why would i even want these with -3int? Get serious, these are useless to purecasters. the only casters who will want this are those people who collect useless junk.
At Level 45+, 200 Int is easy to get. Heck, as a Cleric I have 200 Wis at 36.
Pure Casters will want this for the AC and hitpoints... until they realize it's not enough at the level they get it. Then it gets sold to Druids, Shamen and Clerics for inflated prices.
Sure its easy to have 200 wisdom if your character starts with a base of 130. However, some of us prefer to roleplay characters that don't happen to be the "best race" for a certain class. My human cleric has a base wisdom of 95, and at level 34, I'm only up to 178 wisdom, including what I get from a set of these sleeves, that I bought for the "inflated price" of 100pp in EC. 200 wis is attainable for any wis caster, just takes better stuff for those of us with low base. Nice thing about these arms is if you are wearing sol ro quest sleeves, you only lose a save, in exchange for the wis.
I think that it makes sense for no small races, they are Giant sleeves after all... Don't think that many monks will miss these either, at 4.4 weight its a touch heavy for most monks to consider. Thalos Oakenheart Inner Dark Tallon Zek
