All 1hand weapons have a dmg bonus of 16, 2 hander weapons have a higher damage bonus, but less stats than two weapons or a weapon and shield. Sinister strike on increases the max damage you can do with your off hand weapon not the damage bonus on it.
Actually, Sinister Strikes does increase the damage bonus on your offhand weapon. Offhand weapons start with a damage bonus of 0. With Sinister Strikes, the damage bonus goes to Weapon Delay/3.
I am currently useing my 2.0( prim ) and Deathheads Mace ( Sec ), which procs rune3. When we are raiding I still use the mace And I hardly ever grab aggro on big mobs unless we are burning. Prior to that I had a weapon in Main hand that proc'ed what this weapon does and still never had issues. So must be a tank issue or the ranger doesnt know how to manage agro. Either way this is a sweet weapon and Anyone of the listed classes would be crazy not to aye on it.
Haha, 2.0 and an agro weapon. Bet that "tank issue" is the topic of many arguments in your daily eq life. Guess it isn't so bad if they are not aug'd with stuns though.
The only way I'd put my bbob in my bank for this is if it had a (edit: anger) proc mod. The agro from the ratio and low delay must be nice, but me thinks the 650 hate (edit: +stun) still pawns this. I seriously hope I'm not going to have epic+bbob for 5 or so expansions when I'm level 100 or something.
Edit: On a side note, I hope no rangers or rogues plan on using it during raids. Do whatever you want in pickup groups. But in raids when my shield goes up (and it does everytime defensive/stonewall is done), the only thing saving your *** is your ability to stay low on the agro list.
Well, rangers now get Jolting Kicks which lowers aggro a very good amount. As for rogues, I'd assume with 2.0 and shield, you would be fine even with stun proc, don't take my word on it though as I am not sure.
this is a pretty sweet weapon. its ratio is actually .628 if you include the magic damage. Adding another CS 4 aug would make this a very nice stunning proc weapon.
