I got a 2 hand slashing sword from this mob while camping the queen...24 damage 49 delay.

This sword is great with my ranger I am level 25 and i hit for 22-26 almost always, I love it

you can buy this sword at the vendors (pirates) anytime right after i leave. When you selll this sword to the vendors for 5 or so pp. The vendor resells it for 150pp.

well seein how it has a 13% dam/delay ration than the yak, id say its a good deal. that 13% should make up for a yaks proc. and at the price, totally blows away the crystaline blade, which not too long ago sold for nearly as much. me, i got the claw lookin one with the same damage/delay, but only weighs 2. now thats nice :)

This would be a nice weapon to wield with a ssoy, better then my ssoy sharkjaw cutlass that i have now. cuase i am very poor all the time got 235pp saved in bank.

well my lvl 22 war uses duel BBK and he kicks some butt so if anyone else thinks this is a weak sword feel free to hook a poor barb war on britlebane up with 2 of these. just remeber not all of us have a lvl 50+ farmer(necro) in our pocket

this sword drops in a lvl 25+ dungeon ROFL what do you expect 16dmg 18del with a clickable effect of greater healing

i agree. this is a great weapon, i would love to get two for when my bard gets dual-wield or for my warrior now with dual wield. 11/29 is not that bad and certainly better then a tarnished long sword :P

first off its dam/delay is superior to a SSoY (the most over-rated sword ever)
2nd its delay is 29, in other words it has minium damage bonuses NOT seen by weapons below a 28 delay.
translation? this thing is not only superior then former 'great' 'awsome' 'wow' weapons but its easier to get as well.
know what your talking about before ya open your mouth. it saves everyone on these boards alot of time and helps those who want the facts

Are you insane? This is a great sword for it's price. The average going seems to be around 700 PP. (Or if you're lucky you can get one really cheap off a vender like the guy below.) The damage/delay ration on this thing is better than SSOY and it goes for 1/3 the price! Yeah, the SSOY procs a damage effect, but over the course of a battle I bet ya that the higher d/d ratio still allows this sword to do more damage. Yeah, stat buffs or a special effect would be nice, but nothing else in this sword's range deals out as much damage for such a low price.

i used to use an ssoy and an ssom now i wield 2 of these babies ......wow i can solo now these things ROCK

I have had both this and SSOY and after using both quite a bit. I'd easily trade an SSOY for this if they weren't so cheap and if there weren't so more suckers out there buying up SSOY's as fast as they're put up for sale.I currently use one of these in my off-hand until I find something better and dumped my SSOY's off to people who figure paying 1.5k for a weapon is going to get them something good.
