I noticed a rogue with 200 lockpick can use 2 Mechanized lockpick sets , plus wear the Cheirometric Lockpick Device this being accomplished by placing the Cheiro in hands slot, one of the lockpick sets in Primary, and use the other on cursor to click door open with a modified skill of 7%, or 214.

I have an evolving GM Baker trophy from Frreport (PoR). I have already noticed that the Geerlok Utensil does nothing to raise baking skill with GM equipped, despite the fact that you can put it in primary, and the GM in any of the other 3 slots. The question is, does Chowderly's Grand Bowl not stack the skill either? Has anyone tried it? I only ask since the quest seems to be a tad difficult in comparison to grinding Misty Thicket baskets. The collapsible bowl would spare my bank like 10-4 = 6 - the bowl = 5 slots, but otherwise I guess the other posts as indicated - USELESS QUEST.

If they don't stack then I wonder what the point was originally, since Geerloks came first, 5%=5% MOOT

Tradeskill modifiers do not stack. The game uses the highest modifier you have equipped and disregards the rest.

As for the motivation, they presumably simply wanted to create another way for people to boost their effective tradeskill modifier.

Thanks :) Saved me the hassle of trying out of curiosity.
Worthless maybe but just for fun...

True the reward for a fairly lengthy quest is pretty lame but can't people do the quest just for fun?
The Reward Is Free Storage Space

This item provides a baking modifier like a geerlok and a stored bowl like the collapsable mixing bowl. The primary reward for doing this quest is gaining a storage slot. If you're a big tradeskill person then you know bank space is of premium value. If you're not into tradeskills then completing this quest will probably seem basically pointless.
Hardly worthless

I would not call a Cha +20 item that fits into an "AMMO" slot worthless...and that is not even taking into account the +8 Int or Unfold Metal Bowl..all of my Int casters will be doing this one eventually

i thought stats on any items in ammo didnt apply to your character. so it does seem pretty worthless

You are correct. You get no stat benefit from an item in your ammo slot.

If you have your baking trophy then this is completely worthless. For the complexity of the quest I would have expected a much better reward.
