It used to be berzerker's sword, so yes it was renamed.

This has been renamed to the Bladesman Sword. Probably due to the upcoming GoD.

This weapon is alright. I got it for 40pp at FV from this desperate guy. It was alright I guess. But then I went to the Bazaar and got an IcePaw War Claw, and it's even better! So If you're looking for a cheap weapon with nothing but ATTACK. Then the Berserker sword is good.

Im a little upset at my girlfriend. we akk know weapons get better and better. and lately some CRAZY good weapons are available through vendors for screwed up prices. I gave my girl THIS sword a long time ago to play with and hold for me. and I recently bought some shaded sword, like a 12/24 (much nicer) from a vendor for like 6pp !!!! and well, i ask about THIS blade reminding me of this nice shaded one and she gave it away.

the new screwed up economy, alows me to buy a better weapon for 6pp from a vendor. and also not to let my girl use my damn swords. this USED to be a rather nice blade.

This sword isnt that good I mean u can get like a Sporali Defenders Blade or something for around the same price and it does much more damage with just a tenth of a second added on (17 37)

I would just like to say there isn't. A warrior is good with everything therefore just go with like the best ratio weapons and not the best damage or delay weapons. People think o it's damage is really low so this is a great weapon true that it does make u hit more often whicch can make the target hit less BUT if the damage is 1 and delay is 19 the weapon would suck. On the other hand people think that damage is needed more than the delay such as the weighted axe which is 45 150 i believe well it hards but u get hit more often and is a big hassle at higher lvls especially when the guys start hitting for 150+.

This sword is ok, I put it in the offhand slot and wurmslayer in primary. I know, I know very very SLOW Warrior, but this is what I use if no one else in group dishes out good damage and I can get a haste type spell cast on me. If I am MT I may use ssoy and this in offhand or velium battle axe in offhand so as to speed up the hitting and hopefully hold taunt. Anyway, gonna keep this weapon till i get a centi ls or a Lammy. Another higher level warrior gave me this item out of the blue (no-charge) when I was fighting with him at orc camp 2. I was level 8 at the time. I'm now level 12. I didn't know what it was until I weilded it. Then my damage/hit went from an average 12 to a consistant 25. Very cool indeed! Its the only item I have that's "Lore-like"; all my other items were earned through sweat and hard work (and dying alot!)

i've read a couple of messages posted by many higher lvl players saying that they keep this weapong off hand in favor of seemingly faster delay weapons, i personaly am having trouble keeping agro and i am using this weapon in my primary hand and my weaker velium battle ax in my secondary hand, the axe has about 8 damage and 28 delay, which should i keep in my primary hand, i am a lvl 16 twink, and i am in need of advice.

Taunt, as I understand it, is governed by (for this purpose, I know there is much more to aggro...) two things: a) damagae dealt and b)number of touches (hits and i think misses still draw some aggro)
So...if you put the faster weapon in your primary you will get more touches but cause less damage. But if it is in your secondary you will get way less touches because you also have to successfully roll for duelwield to even swing.
I bet if you were to put the faster weapon in your primary you would draw more aggro but do a little less damage...try it out and see whats best. I have a 16 warr too and picked up a Glimmering Axe for 50pp (6/19 1hs) and I swing like crazy in my primary and have not trouble drawing aggro.

I think your character is an Alt which is simply a second or 3rd character of a player. A twink is a low level character that uses expensive high level gear given to him usually by the players own high level character. Just semantics really. Anyway have fun.
Maybe I'm being old-school or I'm craving for some stuff with filling but last time I checked it's our alternate characters with better gear that are called twinks. Items handed down or to or whatever by another player we sometimes call tweaking.

In my mind if you are using ANY equipment you didn't pay for with money you raised personally or loot yourself and it came from a MOB you could not defeat without assistance of a much higher level player then you are a twink. A level 5 in full crafted is twinked, I don't care what you say.

The only time wasted here is when u decide to conjure stupid replies to other replies.

I agree i was wandering aimlessly through G-Fay wondering if i should even keep playing EQ i was lost had junk for equipment and had no idea what i was doing at lvl 7.... then i just sat down near the BB/G-Fay zone line and was thinking and some 40th+ lvl person asked me why i was sitting there i said i dont know what to do i have junk, and i keep dieing so he gave me a BABS well now that seems like junk to me but at the time i was like wow this is the best sword i ever saw. it gave me hope as a newbie...

I tend to agree. A twink is someone who goes out of the way to farm stuff for a low lvl alt. If I am camping orcs in High Pass for a Shralok pack, and I get the Shiny Brass Halberd instead. I'd give the SBH to a low level cause it is a nice thing to do, and it isn't worth the time to go sell it.

Well, i am a mechanic (plese see explaination below). This was given to me by a 30 + ranger, so i am grateful. What I have been using, however, is a shiv, 5/22. I hit very fast, and my piercing and offence is almost always maxed by the next lvl. =) NOw, I have been using this only as a backup, such as when I may want to fight a magic creature, lets just say a Willo'wisp. I am lvl 5, so I won't be fighting wisps for a while, but still, it pays to be prepared. As a question, when I hit 12 and can dual, I was going to put another shiv in my off-hand because of its speed. Would tis be a correct assumption? Thanks you for you CONSTRUCTIVE criticism.

It does not proc you always go Bezerk when you go belo 20% hp you smart guys :P
I have never heard anyone I met in game who has used this sword say anything about it proccing "Berserk." Honestly, I don't believe it does. Aside from that, I'd like to bring up the Warrior's Berserk threshold. Everyone seems to be saying that a Warrior will go Berserk when his/her health drops below 20%. Since I read that, I have been paying closer attention. I have noted that my Warrior will go Berserk when his health drops to 30%, and, when healing after the fight, will sometimes remain Berserk until almost 40% health. Is 20% the actual threshold for the Berserk ability?

Just to add some information:
Does not "proc" in any fashion for me--been using one offhand with my ibc since about 35. Am 43 now, still not proccing (if it did "proc" berserk, i'd notice a str increase just like when I do go berzerk...)
Does seem to do quite alot of damage on criticals and cripplings, though, for an offhand weapon.

I still would like to get my hands on one to see if it actually procs. Until then, I debate the statement that it does. You would think Verant would list something like that in the item descript.

I just bought one of these a few days ago. I am a 40 Warrior, and it procs "Berserk". When a warrior goes below 20% of hit points he will go Berserk and have more chances of critical hits. A warrior can go Berserk with this sword without going below 20% of hit points. It procs for me non stop, but am not sure at what level it will start to proc.

HA HA! I have one of these and a magic mace (forgot the name... crystalized something). This does the trick since I am level 13. And how did I come across such a nice weapon? No, I didn't carry it over from a previous weapon or have any friends twink me. I got killed in Frontier Mountains, and a nice gentleman gave me the weapon since I couldn't find my corpse. Anyway, I like it very much.
