I bought this last night on The Rathe for 1950 pp. Prices are dropping, although I think that was a fairly good deal. I turned around and sold Acrylia BP for 1100 in 10 minutes. For 850 pp, I gain 9 str and 50 hp. I like that there are no wasted stats for my warrior. I hate paying for wisdom or mana. At that price, it's a good deal. It's ugly, but the game isn't about making a fashion statement.

I picked up one of these for 2k last night on Innoruuk. Agreed about wasted stats, it replaced a Ry'Gorr Battle Mail.

if youre a sham rog or ranger check out steelslave breastplate of war* or something to that sound, looted in a 55ish dungeon in Rujk bein sold for 1700pp and even at lower lvls the stats are good. at 30 it has 22 out of the 35 max ac and stats are fairly good too

Hello all. I really want to buy this tunic to an upgrade to my beer stained coldain tunic, which is not all that bad for the price ive seen it for. this is an upgrade in str by 4 and gives ton of hp. I dont have that much money atm, but i am selling a FBSS and a orc fang necklace for real cheap on tunare. I always sell things cheap, just because im such a nice guy heh.)

Just bought this last night on the Ayonae Ro server in the Bazaar for 2900pp. Vast improvement to my Brigandine Tunic that I've had since level 10.
2 of them dropped in less than 15 minutes.

As a 28th ranger i recently got one of these and is wondering if i should trade it for a Ceremonial Iksar BP?And would Barbed Ringmail be worth a Ikky BP and FBSS?

Alright...the Iksar Ceremonial BP is nice for the regen, however, when in battle IT BITES! I only use it when I need to ..and when it's safe where I can sit down. It's good at lower levels when things don't hit so hard, but when you start fighting the upper level creatures...definitely get something else.

I agree with Ahnyx, I think Iksar Regen BP is sweet at lower levels (1-20) but beyond that when you tend to group more, the lack of stats and AC, makes it no where near as useful as the Barbed Ringmail. However, the regen BP would be nice to have when soloing and low on hitpoints (out of combat)

Plz think about it: the named mob in UK drop this kind of rarly and pop rarly also. the named Shissar pop every 2 to 3 hrs if u kill these PH fast. and each time u will have chance to get this great loot, and name golem also. He droped awsome items for melee like tunic and seleeves! both of em r at same camp.

With the extra 15agi you also get extra ac... nice lil extra thing on shissar.

Shissar BP is much better yes, but not by, well much. Less str, more dex and agi, very nice, but it also costs a lot more (on prexus it does).
Barbed Ringmail goes for 5k on prexus, while Shissar BP is 15-20k.

i know huh. i hate when ppl go, ya but luclin drops this new bp. LOL that shissar bp sells fer 15k on our server and barbed ringmails only sell fer 5k...what would u rather spend?

I see PC crafted BPs with 30ac, str9, hp 15 (or something like that.. acrylia BP) sell for 3k also.. Barbed is the better option.

I just bought one of these on Terris-Thule fer 5k. I've been using Iksar Ceremonial BP up untill now just cause the regen effect is so nice. But I finally decided that I needed a BP for fighting in groups. At 49 I don't really solo that much stuff (except when farming), so I got Barbed Ringmail fer grouping. This works out great cause I can still throw on my Ikky BP during downtime to make my HP go up.

It is slightly better than the Treeweave in many aspects which I agree too, but the price of this item is a little too high. On the Rodcet Nife these go for 4k, this is reasonable mainly because you earn +5 ac and +50 hp and lose only 1 str. But paying 15k for this item is a little different story, not mentioning the new Luclin Armor is way better and drops off the same level mosters :P. Just my 2cps

I am so happy i won this on roll in velks.i was saving for new weapon but i needed new BP more and boom 2hours at tents pays off.within 2 hours BP,spider fur cloak,velium sword of swiftness(i think is name could be wrong),spider fur belt and 2 quest gems dropped..i found my new favorite place to be...

this is a very nice bp (cept for rangers get a TV bp 13 wis and only 1 less ac) esp for pallys uness liek he said your guild can do some prety powerfulraids

Well if you are a Pally, this is a nice piece to have. Most other BP are no drop and unless your guild can take out Trak your chances on a DW BP are slim to none. BP from Hate is like dropped once a year and Fear BP is crap. You can go to VL and camp this and get at least one to drop in a day, we had 3. Don't really like the look but hey, it has 30 AC. If one is smart, they will try to camp tents and pits as much as possilbe and get this and Sword of Blessing. Nice add to your 1HS.

Thorny Vine Breastplate is AC:26 9 STR 13 WIS 50 HP. Great upgrade for rangers...

Think about it for a second.... He means that Thorny Vine is a good upgrade from Barbed Ringmail. Not the other way around.

Basically i just baught a 20k weapon for 3k!! w00t~
Anyone have any idea of the value of this item with the recent upgrades? I have one that I wear, but may be willing to sell it if it's worth enough platinum...
Looking at other armours out there (keeping in mind the races/classes that can wear this, and who/what drops it), this piece should be worth 15k+ IMHO.

I paid 8k for one yesterday on Tarew Marr. At 30ac I think it's a good deal but I expect the price on this to tumble fairly soon due to the extreme farming in Velk's Lab at present. If you can get 15k I would suggest taking it - they're appearing on the market pretty regularly now, mostly at around the 10k mark.

Don't forget the extra weight that Stonewood Mail has. I guess it all depends on what you want to use. Me, I have both, and wear the Stonewood Mail, mostly because the graphic for it is so much different. :)

Tpos is not very hard, trivial in fact -- but we had me 60 warrior 60 chanter and 59 cleric, low 50s rest of group. He hits hard but is easily slowed, and combine that with defensive it's rather pathetic. However, a group that gets him with adds without a good tank -- could be trouble.
