Just killed Laryk Icepaw and it dropped these sleeves tonight.
#REDACTED, Posted: Jan 18 2003 at 6:30 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Wow, That sucks. Don't get me wrong. Sleevs are good. However, I dont know about that 10.00lbs. being so great, They'd weigh you down, I mean I know the sleeves have 4str, but man what I dont get is the friggin' fact of why these are so nice yet sooo heavy... So what has good stats on would look black on you?
deffinatly a rogue

1 they are chain and good ac at that

2 str is a major plus to any self respecting rogue mainly because bs dmg

3 dex good for all them procing peircers ie bloodpoint, ragebringer, fbs, etc etc etc

4 with str here plus other items like orc fangs and hero bracers weight = nothin

5 and most important rogues always look better in black hence most rogue quest armor is black
#REDACTED, Posted: Jun 25 2002 at 1:52 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I am looking to sell these on the bertoxx server. Send a tell to keiler. Got em as a little present for porting someone.... nice donation.
#REDACTED, Posted: Jun 28 2002 at 3:45 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) ok i sold them so ignore that post got mithril arms and 300pp so if anyone wants arms send a tell.
weight
# Jun 02 2002 at 1:45 AM Rating: Decent
i got them for the dex buff, with the plus 4 strength is like only having 6 weight. the dex is great for fleetching and helping to proc on special weapons.
Weight no problem
# May 21 2002 at 12:39 AM Rating: Default
For you weak races I can see the 10 weight being a problem, but for my barbarian with 185str they are not a probelm at all. All my gear weighs around 60 so I have plenty of str to carry all those pp. Paid 300 for these tonight, debating wether to use them or my ravenscale since my dex and fire sv could use work.
Less is more

I keep on passing these up, as I have the gnome skin. My dark elf rogue strength is 157 with other stuff, and my dex can live without those 4 points...and the 10 weight and lack of poison resist can be a pain.

Gnome skin. It's what's for dinner.

These arms are ALMOST Uber. Short of No Drop items, these are right up there with the best arms (for a rogue, at least). The next best arms go for at least 5,000pp, if you're lucky.

I paid around 400pp and a trade for them, about 750 total, so pretty good deal.

Good trade !
# Nov 16 2001 at 4:47 PM Rating: Decent
I got these the other day when some guy offered these for my Ravenscale arms. I thought I got the best deal I could ever imagine, then i noticed the weight. Oh well, they still ROCK !!!
weight
# Nov 06 2001 at 12:49 PM Rating: Decent
Okay. this is a arm piece.. not very large and all, right? Yet its weight is 10.0?!

I got the BI leggings, and think that their weight is almost too much, 10.0 (c'mon im a wuzzy wood elf rng with only a self buffed str at 149).
I was gonna buy these ones when I saw then for 1k the other day, but when I saw the weight, I kindly said no thnx. Apart from that, these arms rocks insanely :D
For those stronger guys out there, I highly recommend em! :D

I think verant should lower the weight on these to a maximum of 4. Then I would consider track down this guy again ;D

A Rogue doing his epic in Kithicor was selling a pair of these for 1k. He was nice enough to give tme to me for 411 pp though; very nice sleeves... They look like Ravenscale or any other black sleeves.

#REDACTED, Posted: Mar 14 2001 at 11:19 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) use the 'send a correction' link... like the webmaster is gonna read it if you just post it under the item? with 1000s of threads like this, I think not.
#Anonymous, Posted: Dec 10 2000 at 8:49 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Ya see that little bit of verbage to the right of the picture? Yeah, the one that says "Send a correction". Well, that's a link - one that will allow you to E-mail that info directly to Allakhazam so he can get it updated. Why don't you try that. Maybe someone should read the rest of the page for you too...
