We killed him on our journey back to Thurugain (sp) city. He was just wandering around near the river. He did drop the mace as well...guess we were a bit lucky after reading all these posts. :)
Yaka spawns in the Tizmak caves in Great Divide. He was blue to my 49 Druid but pretty easy to kill. I estimate he's around level 35-40. He can spawn anywhere in the cave I believe. All you have to do is sit in a room where they spawn and keep killing Tizmaks until he spawns. He's about twice the size of a regular Tizmak and has always had the mace whenever I've seen him. He spawned 3 times in 2 hours for me but since the mace is lore it decayed. I imagine the value of this mace will go down as it's so easy to get one...
Got mine yesterday. Grouped with a 33 Monk and 36 Warrior. I was a 35 then. Yaka Razorhoof conned yellow to me. It was a tough fight - we could just take him. When he died I was oom (183 Wis) and the tanks down to 2 bubbs health. He spawned right at the entrance of third cave away from Thurgadin. Thanks again to my group members, they let me have the mace.
he spawns anywhere in the cave, just clear anything in the cave and he might spawn. Im not sure if he can spawn twice though. I have killed him and about 1 min later he spawned somewhere else. He was easy to me at level 50 only about level 36 or so.
The picture above does not say primary only and Allakhazam's post above says either melee. I have been told that this is another primary only. Does anyone know for sure?
Yes, this weapon is primary only. I'm using one on my Ranger since the Dly is equal to the SSoM and the Dmg 1 point more. Together they make a quick combo for Rangers. Mace is a little heavy though, so if you into long fights, have invigor memmed.
I got one last night but I'm not at home right now. I'm almost positive it was primary only but I'll double check and post it soon as I can. Probably tomorrow.
I've seen them for sale fairly regularly for 400p on Fennin Ro...i thnk the price has come down a fair bit since,at least on this server, everyone and their brother is camping him now.
Why in the name of all the gods does every weapon that adds Wisdom list for two to four times as much as a comparable weapon that adds Strength, Dex or something else?
Compare this to a Walrus Tooth... or Deepwater Harpoon... or that named kodiak's claws.
Just trying to get back the cost of the resses, potions & ports I guess.
AngelsynWhitewings, what's up with someone having 3 of these at one time? You stated you bought yours for 400 and you guessed you got lucky cuase the seller had 3 of them. . . .
* LORE *
You would have to look at pricing to see the comment.
I got 2 of them. One on my Cleric, one on my Druid. Very possible the guy had 3.... on different characters though. That is what I do with my lore items. I got a packrat character in EC who just carries my goods... hehe...

I'm guessing it's because an increase in Wis gives a definite corresponding increase in mana, whereas the difference a Str or Dex or whatever else gives is somewhat vague. So even for a warrior, a 3 Str difference isn't something to spend enormous amounts of money on, but for a wis-caster, that 3 points of wis is a set amount of mana to them. I think more casters know what their int/wis is than melees who know what their strength is. :)
Dunno, I guess to give you something to spend all that pp on... FYI on cost, a level 42 cleric was trying to auction one off on my server for 800 pp. At the time all I had was 650 pp but he found a buying for 740pp. Said he'd take an order for one at 650pp because they were easy to get. He wouldn't tell me what dropped them, that's why I ended up here... Seems price will go down quickly. I think it would make a great back up weapon when you're not the primary healer (as a druid per say). The damage/delay ratio is killer. But there are better wisdom weapons to be had that you can get yourself for the level range of this weapon. Woodencowboy Lvl 31 druid
the minotaur/goatman caves, yaka was green to a 52, but blue to a 45. warning: the faction hits seem to be VERY severe, after killing one, i went from indif to app, and another kill (yaka) i went to dubious
diecent, but a blackjacks better prolly cheaper and mroe common as well. the catch is if your a druid shammy or cleric and want to melee this is a nice item and has wis bump as well as a small str one as well. good weap i guess for the right people. would be nice at low levels where clerics ect. melee more.
I am a 31 Cleric-Roiel Deadcrusher on The Seventh Hammer. I was swingin an Enameled Black Mace and hoping to find a +WIS Weapon some day. Then out of the blue an auction came across and I bought this for 300p!!!!! What a steal, this weapon rules for me! I am sure the person didn't care to try and make money on it, cause I'm guessing it's worth around a K or so : )
For the classes listed this is actually better for them. One if they melee one deley does make a noticable drop if you look for it, but these guys wont be looking for main tank damage. The wisdom makes it better. I the 3str makes up for the longer deley though. Actually tested this with a Short Sword of Morin and Icy Blade (excluding procs) with a fs dagger in the off hand. Looked pretty much the same at 35 with percing 1hs duel weild dubble attack maxed.
