I love watching you all whine and cry because a druid can equip an item with over 5 ac... Whatever.. VL's such a bish'd out pickup group nub zone now anyways, it's gonna be like seb.. the clerics rollin on lammy's, ya.. just like that.. so don't bother complaining bout who gets what and what's made for which class because with zones like VL being hoe'd out now a days, your gonna be /random'ing any possibly decent drops anyway... Ohh and for the druid haters, quick mention of AC on druids.. first of all, AC does matter, although not as much as resistances.. outta control pull, some *** monger screams evac, druids takin hits, someones gotta taunt off, well druid has to survive the time it takes for the taunt.. For you druids who think AC is king for you, wrong again, only time AC should matter is a similar scenario as above, if you think you "rely on AC" and gimme that b/s, stay in your 40's and build your AC, keep quad kiting, keep the root/dot goin, cuz that's all you'll ever be good at, if your a quality druid, the ones people don't f-ing hate, you can manage your goddam aggro. Deal with it, you can't just stand, snare, nuke, and med while half afk.. you actually have to kinda be there and pay attention, oh and thanks for giving my class, the people who know wtf their doing, a bad rep.
Little lesson for the nubs.
IF you take as much dmg as a shammy in a group, you need to find another class..
IF a cleric needs to heal you more then 1 out of 20 pulls, you need to find another class..
IF you spend your whole eq-life soloing, you suck, you prolly always will, need to loose the dreams of items like this, anything in seb, any raid, and pretty much anyone liking you in a group scenario.

I dont disagree or agree with you... But one question-- Why are you acting so cocky and "rude"? If you really do feel the way you do then you wouldn't have anonymous on. Besides, for all we know, you probably wanted these gauntlets for yourself, lost the roll, then came on here to take it out on everyone else. So before you insist on telling us all to "stfu", why don't you stop your whining and crying?

These are probably some of the most awesome gauntlets my SK and Paladin have ever had! These are so good for melee caster classes, they are probably ment for hybrids. Good mana like darkforge but awesome defense and strength which is always great for atks =)

I have to agree, giving a DRUID these gloves is absolutely stupid. Umm 20 AC is for a meleer not a quad kiting, ksing, loot mongering DRUID.

I agree with Duronglee! The distinct lack of druid friendly gloves in this game unless we're talking SoV Quest gloves or planar gloves makes these gloves an excellent choice for druid armor!

Not exactly. I got this gaunts today and used it to replace my old split paw gloves. Now I can get rid of my constant encumbering nightmare. And don't forget about the 35 mana, it actually gives me more mana than the 2 Wis from the split paw gloves. It should be considered a mana gear for Druids that have more than 200 Wis.

I find it hard to look at 20AC and see this as mana gear. Idealy these are the perfect hybrid drop, but the most significant stat is the AC. Considering the AC and the need for AC by any melee lacking in hand AC, these most definitely should go to the melee first. Once all the melee and high agro players have sufficent AC in the hand slot, then these gloves should be open to the remaining classes.

Been hunting in first floor and only seen Hunters but no Crystal Eyes.

Crystal Eyes is a named mob on the third floor of Velks, by the false wall on the way to the village. He spawns at the three spawn right before heading back into the tunnel to the village, he is usually pretty heavily camped, but well worth it for these gloves. 8)
He can also pop by the Safehall, although more rarely.

We got a pair of these off of one of the hunter type spiders, that I pulled to the bottom of the ramp at the ent. We defaulted to our druid, since they're not bad AC and good stats for a druid. I've hunted here for awhile, and this is the second set I've seen drop. Very rare. Hunters are rare spawns too. Two types of hunters, but I can't remember which one it was.

Are you kidding? There are all of THIRTEEN gloves in the game better than these!, and those are mostly velious quest armors. What kind of carebear newbie gives 20ac 10str 35m gloves to a druid?

Got one today off 'Crystal Eyes'. Was a lvl 52-53 spider. Dropped nothing but the gloves.
