got this one on my little <dwarf> pally level 33 she hits for anywhere from 12 to 49 with it. And while we're on the subject of pallies why do they make all the dwarf helms so that you look like a goat?

I purchased one of these on the Ec'i server for 1800pp and a Velium Round shield. the guy i got it off of said he got it for 2k, heh. now i know that Ec'i is one of the older servers thus implying that prices will be lower (and tunnel rats more abundant, so as to counter low prices) but this seems to be really low.
this weapon has a lower del than Fiery Avenger and more dmg than arbitor's. in the medium between argent and arbitors is very few good 2hs weapons for paladins (purchasable), this seems to fill that gap quite neatly, and with these stats bounuses it makes it a not-so-bad second to argent.
conversely, there are weapons like Reaver, Axe of Aggression and all the Heavy Velium / exquisite velium, etc. that fill the gap for those who have alot of money.
it is sad to see that verant did, once again, not entirely think through the "i wonder what weapon i should get next dilema". back before i had this axe, and had bought my Sarnak Battle Shield /Wurmy combo, i had Arbs and FBSS, but i found that my AC was too low and that my dmg left something to be desired. so i used wurmy for 3 weeks (at 53, hitting for 100 per hit often) then i gave up b/c of del issues.
in truth, for paladins, there is no good weapon that fills the gap between expensive 2hs and cheap 2hs, indeed the same goes for 1hs (unles you are talknig about no drop gear). this weapon really should drop more often, simply because it's not that great and is better as an itermediate weapon than an "uber" one. sufficed to say that much better can be gotten.

11kp? no wy, i seen em for 4k or less, 32/40 isn't exactly god, the 37/45 6str 6sta 2wis 2int 4ac this guy drops is also very rare BUT i see them for 10k

I'm not sure how reliable the information is that I recieved, but I was told this is no longer dropped. I heard it was replaced with another 2hs. Again, I'm not certain of this information but just wanted to see if someone could verify it maybe?

I wield this weapon (JICA), it's obviously a great one. Among my other weps, the one I used just prior to this was the Argent Defender (AD). The DMG on the AD is only one point higher (33 for the AD vs 32 for the JICA), yet the AD routinely hit for 110 to 130. The JICA hits routinely for say..80 on average, and perhaps twice per fight above 100. Since the DMG difference is slight, I wonder why the big difference observed, I've changed nothing, except of course the different stats between the weapons themselves, and the JICA is better anyway.
The delay is much lower with the JICA, which is just great in combination with my FBSS. However, I would have expected roughly the SAME DMG as the AD, with just shorter delay.
Only a madman would whine about this wep, it's fanatastic and cost me (actual data) a MONTH of hunting just to buy it. But just wondering if someone might have an idea as to why the DMG is lower than AD.

Two words - Damage Bonus. The AD has a higher delay and thus a higher bonus.
Thats wierd since this one will give you a few more STR and the AD has none.

There is an extra damage bonus for 2 handed weapons with delays over 40. The extra damage bonus gets larger with higher delays. There is an added damage bonus for weapons with delays of 41-43, 44-46, and 46+.(not that exactly, but that's close to the way it's seperated) This is why the AD is hitting harder than the JICA
Must be a rare drop. We dropped him 4 straight times, and got nothing but worn crescent axes (think Blade of Xalgoz) and some lame spells. Pretty crappy yield for a level 62 mob.

As a lvl 8 almost 9 Ranger I could never hope to get one of these fine weapons in the near future. Maybe I could buy one.

My dream weapon. As a Dwarven Paladin, this is my ideal weapon, in my humble opinion. I know it's not my epic or anything, but my Dwarf deserves THIS weapon! This is the one I will seek to obtain...and in the not too distant future!

At Level 54 and with a 21% Haste item I never had problems keeping aggro. Am a DEF SK and hit regularly in mid 100s. The highest I have hit to date is 186 with this. It is well worth what you must pay and definately a great weapon from 40-55. After that the availability of superior weapons renders it obsolete. (and it looks darn cool too). Hated to put it down, but you move up and things change.

Got one. Level 51 Troll Champion and I hit in the 150's with it. Crits in the 200's and crips in the 300's. Camped the mob with guild for several hours and got one of these, a couple of worn crescent axes, and a sarnak battle shield (total drops that day). It is a great weapon especially when combined with a haste sash.
Dropped by korocrust in chardok.
