This dropped off from a Tae Ew Crusader as well. Camping this area is the worse part of the entire SK Epic 1.0 quest. It's so boring
Back in the day, when and Epic and just an Epic, and not this 1.0 business.. before AA's and Time gear and instanced zones and everything.. Darkforge Armor was actually halfway decent for growing ShadowKnights, and it was considered quite an effort to get it. You used to have to go -into- Cazic Thule to find it, and it wasn't ever easy. Most people still saved their Darkforge sets from back in the day when Epic's were first introduced.
Nowadays, if you don't have Innoruuk's Curse, and you're going for your 1.5 ..it'd just be easier to do the prequesting and be done with it. The stats on the 1.0 aren't that impressive, and if you're even thinking about Epic stuff anyway, you've got yourself at least few friends strong enough to help with the prequest kills.
