Some inspired individuals sell these for 40k on Bristlebane.

Ive been camping the front entrance hall for about 3 hours now... and not one elemental has dropped this. I have even went into the first lookout tower... whoever said this is a common drop should put the crackpipe down.
Mind you, I'm pretty sure it could be rampant luck, or the fact that this zone is a hotzone now and wasn't when you posted, but we had three of them rot at the hole entrance... every elemental but one in the immediate entrance area (out of 7) dropped one of these...

No one gives out ANYTHING anymore.. Thats why so many people are leaving the game. Everyone is out for their own "uber main toon" that they forget being a lvl 15 noob.
In the last week I've found this on the ground twice in the bazaar on E'Ci near the Nexus-side bank. You low Lv mages may wanna peek there every so often to see if there's a little bag on the ground with a binder in it :)
And don't forget, it's for your EPIC, so don't toss it when you get a better item :)

These drop a dime a dozen in Hole entry way any mage wanting one can get it easy just by going inside when the entrance is camped.

this is for the element of air you need elemental binder and crown of elemental mastery and the pegasus feather cloak off quillmane ... hand them in to Kihun Solstin and he hands over the element of wind

This is a great item to give away to level 2 mages. It makes you look Uber to them and makes for some very happy level 2 mages.

Grabbed one of these today, soloing the entrance as a level 52 necro. Fear-kiting isn't an option so, I just pet tanked them. Easy kills.
The secret is the single-pull with Shadow Vortex. Great spell, low mana cost, low agro, singles every time.
After that, you just BoD and Cascade them into the ground. They won't live long enough for Splurt to be worth the mana.
After the first hall, things get harder, because you have to round corners to get mobs, and they come at you in 2s or 3s. Not a big deal if you use Screaming Terror, but that will drain your mana, and you'll have more down-time. Probably better to just kill the entrance-hall and then med up for the respawn.
Anyone know what the heck a living heart of a brell servant is for?

If you jsut zone in and there are people there killing elementals there is one on almost every elemental.

I am sure I saw a newbie in freeport with one of these, he was wearing it in the shield slot and it had the round white pulsing shield graphic.

Was playing around with my level 6 mage. Someone walked up and gave me this, plus a sorcerous bowl. Which if you check on here it sells for 12k, but on my server 5-6k is more reasonable. That is nice.

I kind of feel terrible doing what I did, now that I know how valuable this item is, but still it will be good money! I was messing around the rocks outside the Hole with a lvl9 non-twinked bard, and managed to get in! I watched a group killing "elemental warriors", and they were leaving them and not looting them. I waited a few minutes, just to make sure looting them wouldn't be rude, and boom! Elemental binder. Now I've got to drag myself to EC and sell this baby.

I am a lvl 14 mage and I have never been given ANYTHING. And yes I am always very polite. It is my hobby to save peoples lives.
I am a 16th lvl Mage and was given this item by a nice person who I've been grouping with now for 2 weeks. Apparently his 18th lvl Shaman who I've been grouping with also has a lvl 47 Wizzard which is the char that gave it to me.
I feel for you Anonymous poster. I too like to help others. If you are on Fennin Ro, plz say hi and I will see what I can do for you. I may have some items that were passed down to me as a newbie that you can have if you like.

He can't possible be the nicest. lol.. In Lake of Ill Omen, some guy came up to me and just handed me a Crystal Covered Shroud. I wore that till a week later when someone had their birthday party at the Arena.. my team won.. so I was awarded an Advisor Robe. Sold the CCS.. wearing the AR. Oh.. and some guy gave me the Elemental Binder too.. I got most of my items for either free.. or I bought them for selling CCS for 750pp..

Went to the Hole for the first time last night, and in about 3 hours of hunting we saw 5 or so drop. They weigh tons but they're great gifts for newbies or guildmates that wouldn't stand a chance at the hole on their own. If you're high enough to hunt in the Hole, hopefully you've got 1 weight-reducing bag (mine's not much, that's for sure) so pick one up and bring it back for your friends.

I was also given on of these in oasis. I complimented a bard on her nice looking armor and she gave me one of these. Weighs alot, but it's a nice +int buff for lower levels.

When I think "Elemental Binder" I always picture an Elemental 3-Ring Binder for some reason. You know, one of those things you put hole-punched paper in.

Once in class to annoy my teacher I put my 3ring Binder on my head. Dont think it made me smarter though.

This is the most commonly dropped item off the elementals. In only 4 hours in the lower CY, we had 4 of these drop.

While it is a nice a decent head item - it's heavy because its not really meant to be worn - it's part that insane epic they make us mages do ). Still a nice item and I would have prolly worn on my mage despite the weight if I didn't already have a Runed Cowl.

ok, here's the deal: i went LD one day and died but didn't know it. one week later i got back on and noticed i had nothing. i was lvl 2 at the time. i needed to get my guild robe back but needed money, to get money i needed to hunt, to hunt i need a malachite for a pet OR a weapon, neither of which i had. i shouted in steamfont for any spare things and a very kind 40 somethin cleric gave me a drachnid leg tip (6 atk 27 dly, good for lbl) an elemental binder and a bunch of malachites! for my lvl i had real good stuff. he also gave me somethin worth like 10pp and i bought my guild robe! now i have my guild robe which is mana+2. i really wish i could repay him in some way, but i have nothing to repay him with but thanks. thanks to all high lvls who give low lvls good stuff, you really make our existance better for us and who we are grouped with. :)

Almost same thing happened to me on the BB server. I just turned 8 and was playing with my eye of zomm when someone asked me if i had a elemental binder.. Lol i said no i can't bind yet..
Anyway she gave this to me and she wasnt in a guild and i forget her name but i wanted to say Thanks.. and it is people like this that make the game fun and enjoyable..

Well i for one appreciate stuff being handed down, so i return the kindness by giving items i get from raids and camping stuff to lower levels, its a nice feeling making someones day by giving them a item that helps that person alot.
