Wasn't dropped in Omen, got in SolA. BTW if its triggered it should be castable on other targets, ie: em nasty DSes on the Spiders in DLs, not practible but could be useful.
And for ya (Humee) druids looking for a different look from the green, mithril, brown, gold, leather look (If you're a druid you know what I mean), try a Fungi Robe and this and a Testament. Hehe looks a bit better, and you can disguise the ugly leather, chain, plate look that we gotta sport around in.

It IS dropped in Omen...I got mine this morning off the Advisor Sh'Orok in the Sarnak fort. It might also be in SolA too...i can't verify that since i have never been there.

Well it's meant for a quest..not to actually weild in battle. Yes it disspells you and not the mob as I just found out shortly after looting it thinking it was an 00ber drop. I was disappointed needless to say. As far as it not being a bad weapon....heh what are you comparing it to? I've seen rusty w/ better dmg/dly and no one wants to be debuffed LOL. So no you're not doing anything wrong. "It's working as intended" =).

this item would be worth TONS to a warrior on Tallon Zek! When fighting against those annoying little halfing druids who try to kite you he could just whip this out and take off all those DOT's and snares etc. then he could run up and bash the little buggers brains out!

This is a useless item, the price has been bid up as it is worth maybe 50-100pp as a quest item. Yes it cancels magic on yourself and debuffs you, it is a process so you have to be fighting something to get it to proc and it does almost no damage so you will likely lose many more hitpoints than any spell or dot on you could be doing.

You're not supposed to sit there meeleeing with it, if you want to debuff yourself go ahead. what it's meant to do is get rid of harmful effect cast by monsters. tanks shouldn't use this unless they need a quick dot removed. Also, alot of people simple buy it cause of it's looks. if you have to use it to get rid of effects, it'll only be for one fight and you can rebuff yourself at the end anyways. that's why it's worth almost 2k, as well as the quest factor. I mistakenly didn't sell this for 2k cause I thought dwarves couldn't use it, now I wish I sould remember that dudes name >_<

I used this thing last night expecting it to proc on what I was hitting, but it proc'd on ME instead. Quite a surprise.

It weighs 12.0, is a lousy weapon, the effect is no different than pumice, and has mediocre stats..
Still, some yoyo wantemore than a straight trade for Ry'Gorr arms for this....
I don't understand..the arms are popular, useful, and look much cooler than a book, and sell easily for the 700pp listed as a price for this book...
SO, if any of you play on Rallos, my iksar warrior needs one of these for her greaves quest..let's talk

most web sites i have check have this priced as 2k, is it worth that? and to who? it is lacking as a weapon, and still as of now debuffs you, or cancels the dot you or other party members cast on a mob. i have been told its for a iksar quest, but from what i hear its for a set of greeves similar to crafted, who is going to pay 2k for and item that is part of a quest for greeves? has anyone out there acutaly sold this for 2k? and if so to who, an iksar quester or just a person with money to burn?

First off this only goes for around 300-1.5K (depends on person). But the reason it costs so much is that it is for the Trooper Scale Greaves (Warrior greaves). People want it, and so they go and buy it. Simple as that.

Advisor Sh'Orok debuffed himself quite nicely with this item. Hopefully it is just an error and should really be a proc so that it will debuf the things you hit instead!

Didn't proc at 24 on my warrior Lvled to 25 and it cancled my buffs..so procs at 25 and casts cancel magic on self seems to proc often

I am Lvl 29 cleric and it procs. But it cancels my buffs. :(
