Is it Blood-Thirsty Racnor or Racnar? In VP 2.0 and in RoS, it's spelled Racnar.

These don't seem to drop any more, only a 33% haste version called "Gray Suede Boots".

stacking haste
# Aug 19 2001 at 11:30 PM Rating: Good
Off-topic, yes, but this is something that has been bugging me for a long time. When I sell Silver Chitin Hand Wraps, like 1/3 of the tells I get are something to the effect of "do they stack with FBSS?" NO! How many times does Verant have to say, and how many times to players have to say, that haste items do NOT stack?! Yes, I know the exe axe is an exception, as are any other weapons that proc. But that's the difference: it's a proc. Mith 2h + FBSS = same haste as Mith 2h because both are hast items. The Exe Axe's haste is a spell effect triggered by attacking. You can have 1 (one) haste item and 1 (one) haste spell effect going at any given time. If you have more than one of either in action, the faster haste will win out, always. Just wanted to clear this up.

Actually you can have 4. For Example:
1. Speed of Vallon-62 ENC (Single tgt)or Vallons Quickening-65 ENC (Group) 68% Haste
2. Warsong of Zek- Bard song 60% Haste
3. Worn Haste i.e, Cloak of Flames 36% haste
4. Captain Nalots Eyepatch 20% clicky haste item that stacks with all of the above

I know this exceeds the haste cap but all of these DO stack. If there was no haste cap that woiuld be a total of 184% haste. [:jawdrop]

Just my 2 CP [:twocents]

Captain Nalots Quickening (Clicky spell haste from Eyepatch of Plunder) does NOT stack with Speed of Vallon or any other spell hastes. It does NOT overwrite eachother, bbut the haste does NOT stack. Ty for the attention :)

Song: Warsong of the Vah Shir: Increase Haste (Above Cap) by 25%.
With WoZ sung with this you can get over the cap, and 25% isn't to be sneezed at.

percentage
# Jul 17 2001 at 11:09 AM Rating: Decent
It's actually 41% haste, shares best haste in the game status with belt of the four winds, golden sash of tranquility and pegasus hide belt.
#REDACTED, Posted: Sep 17 2001 at 6:53 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) The rogue sky belt is 60%, not 41%. That's why a lot of rogues think their epic should have better haste on it, since their belts make the effect on their epic useless. Monks also have a 60% haste belt in sky, as do paladins (I think).
RE: percentage
# Sep 27 2001 at 10:01 AM Rating: Default
No, actually all those items are 41% haste, as that is the highest the game engine will allow. Higher haste values are why all the haste items in NToV weren't giving their haste effect.

Remember, the listed haste percentage is the % increase in attacks in any given time.
RE: percentage
# Sep 26 2002 at 11:05 AM Rating: Decent
Wrong :( ... the 49th chanter spell "Swift Like the Wind" a 60% haste.

Or are u saying 41% is the highest Focus Effect.
RE: percentage
# Dec 16 2002 at 4:33 PM Rating: Good
41% the highest haste effect allowed on an item. spells, focus effects, etc are a whole different deal... which is why bard songs can take you way over the haste cap.
#REDACTED, Posted: Oct 23 2003 at 11:26 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) The highest item haste is 50%, there's no such thing as highest allowed except what the effect "Haste" is limited at. If you don't believe me I don't give a crap cus you're wrong. But check out spell file with a parser anyway...
Don't you..

RE: stack
# Aug 03 2001 at 3:05 PM Rating: Default
Nope. Items hastes do not stack. The highest haste wins out.

Haste Amount?
# Dec 15 2000 at 1:03 PM Rating: Default
Any idea how much % haste does this item provide ?
RE: Haste Amount?
# Dec 25 2000 at 7:15 AM Rating: Default
Well according to Copelands Stats (www.geocities.com/copelandeq/meleestats.html)
it has a considerable increase from the previous "Top" haste item (Cloak of Flames 26.5%) so I'll take a guess and say its well into the 30's and maybe low 40's in haste %, I am not sure how valid his calculations are but to my experience using his program (Weapon Analyzer) its 90% sure he has done his research or obtained it from a reliable source....lets just say that I would sell my soul and anyone elses soul to have this item!
Correction, CoF is 36% haste ...NT
