My brothers 60th Rogue solos out in The Grey with this baby, uses it in primary till it lands (very easy with primal usually on) then switches to Ragebringer quickly after hitting the Fear Skill he gets. (instill doubt or somthing down that line).
Grand weapon for soloing. With this method, fungi, and mainly full tov. He doesnt usually have alot of down time, but there are those times when he gets unlucky and the skill doesnt always work.

I would not use this, in place of a Ragebringer. Simply put. I know the speed demon rogues will say again and again, that they produce more damage, and may be correct, but to loose 6 pts on a primary and 40percent haste. Nah, not me.
I mention it because it's ridiculous to even seek after this thing. I think this might be a nice drop for a rogue that got dragged along into Veeshan's, but seriosly, If you are high enough to live in Veeshan's, you have far better weapons with far less pain to obtain.

rogue epic is better then this by far in main, way more bs damage, but i see this as a mean offhander.Btw if you have a fast wep in offhand it will not be slower because of a higher delay wep in prim, and a offhand is not dependent on primary to attack past a certain lv. just get a warrior with somthing like a wurmy in first and bloodpoint in second, easy to tell between piercing and slashing.

While I have to agree that this most likely won't find it's way into a permanent position in the hands of any rogue who is spending time in Veeshan's Peak. It IS a VERY nice utility weapon imho, the effect slows running speed down more than the druid spell ensnare does (and adds in some damage), and makes for a nice soloing weapon especially if you have trained up instill doubt. So basically it's not awesome ... but very nice in the right circumstances
Oh and there's no need to lose the 40% haste from Ragebringer to wield this in the mainhand ... Ragebringer fits in the offhand as well ;) in fact mine has been there for quite a while now!

Well, sorry for the buble burst. But you dont loose haste when RB is in secondary
Though i would not pull this succer out durring most occasions, butm if needs vbe, i would pop her out to snare. reality is, you only loose a lil DPS with this demon, plus she procs like a banshy with 16 delay and Focus i proc quite a but major agro, and the dot hurts evade lots. But when you cant find someone to snare, this sucker cuts it, its also good for solo. With the DN slow dagger and this. and worn haste ( i have SBoS ) you can immagine how easy it iw with a mob 35% slowed and dot/snared

Just want to let you know that with the 40% haste on the RB in Secondary.. the RB stays a 15/15 while this little bugger becomes a 9.6 delay beast! You clearly dont want this in your Primary though, the damage is not nearly high enough. If I were to use anything, I'd stick RB in Secondary and http://www.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=17759 in Primary... it becomes 12 Delay and 18 Damage with the 40% haste... that's pretty darn wicked if u ask me!

In some situations yeah... such as soloing in a zone where mobs flee, would be a great weapon to use instead of having to use, for example, a Serrated Bone Dirk, to make sure they're snared. Also if Instill doubt works and they're snared its going to be one quick fight =)
In a raid or exp group this would be bad though - Dooming Darkness is a nasty taunt, which is the last thing a rogue wants to do =)

welll, whomever says a weapon is fake is 1. either jelous cause they will never get the weapon or 2. think they are a badass or somethin(remember eq is a game, nothing really impressive just somethin to kill time although its cool to see uber stuff), this weapon is prolly real and no its mostl likely real and whomever thinks its fake is going to have to realize, if THIS is fake then the ragebringer effect seething fury doesmy make the wpn a 15/15 damg delay cause it does.... my friend beats my *** with that weird weapon all the time and remeber if you think is is to fast the bixie warblade was 2/6 before they nerfed it and THAT is real..so think before you speak and to all my rogues out there keep chillin yo
With 40% haste(what the ragebringer has) the delay on the ragebringer is 18, Since the haste is item haste when the ragebringer is equiped it will always have 18 delay unless you have spell haste buffs or something.

The effect Dooming Darkness is roughly a 65% movement slow (snare) and 300pt damage DoT which lasts roughly 90 seconds
I was 60 when I got my Nightfall so I'm afraid I can't help you with the proc level however

my name is Tarrus Freefinger 59 rog on veeshaun the stats are right i weild one in off hand and sometimes im primary cuz procs owns. And rb can go in any hand =) this aint fake it drops off Nexona rare drop SK dragon in vp that has AE acid. Look at out website ww.celestialtomb.com for corpse of nexona

Revulant whip is 5/15 ranger only 1hs from PoF. It has been and will always be there. So STFU j00 n00b Su><0rZ 2 j00.

idiots that dont have a chance at ever earning something good make stuff up and say "FAKE" everytime ANYTHING new is posted. specially this idiot who thinks the jade mace is dly of 17...what a doink. and no GM had a private conversation about this stuff with the guy...go ahead ask a GM, they arnt allowed to discuss game functions or answer any gameplay questions regarding items or spells. idiot.

Posted: Apr 16 2001 at 12:48 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) this is indeed fake. that least delayed weapons in the game(i.e. tombcarver,locustlure,jade mace and such) only have a delay of 17. i asked a gm and they said that they would never again make a weapon faster than those. they learned their lesson when they made the MCT it ahd a delay of 10. this is fake. ppl make stuff up and say they came from VP or PoM because it will be a long time before ppl go there and get a complete eqipment list.

Heh, not every server has made it through, or even tried VP. And on the ones who do on the server arethe MOST UBER people on that server.... you'll never get this =)
