some times.. gear can be wore by a class that really dont need it as much as another...
like a item that is all / all 100 mana 100 hp.. and 41% haste...
just because it has mana on it doesnt mean the casters should bid on it... let the tanks have that item..

every class that can cast spells is on this item... BUT the paladin. and im sure the 4% Shielding would really benefit these pure casters and non tanks (but SK's). and this is screams SK =)

Actually, detrimental spell haste is one of the harder Foci for a ShadowKnight to obtain... right up there with Extended Range...

Screaming to the ShadowKnight is a definite... the AC/hp and Shielding on this ring alone are a draw...

He never said it had to go to a ShadowKnight... simply that the stats/foci are definitely geared towards them, just like they're geared to some of the other classes who might have more options for the foci, or would prefer mana regen.

Just because a class CAN use an item, doesn't mean they'd put the best use to it.

This item can be worn by Beastlord Necromancer Enchanter Magician Wizard Ranger Shaman Druid Cleric Shadowknight

That means that any of those 10 classes are ideal for it. You cannot sit there and say that this item is BEST for a SK because let me tell you, I would make DAMN GOOD use of that 4% shielding. Yes tanks need shielding, but SO DO CASTERS. In a way, we need it more, because of our inability to mitigate as well as a tank. Gives us a little breathing room. The risk associated with playing a caster and getting melee pummeled to death is significantly higher than a tank class. Meaning, if I cast a mez on a mob, and it resists, I have a really high chance of dying. A SK gets a snare resist, umm your chance of dying is innately less than mine. I would rather have this on my gimpy paper self so that I can actually live through a mez resist pummeling and get the mob locked down that would otherwise turn to the SK after killing me and... well, u get the picture. Not saying that it's more important for one or the other, because its just NOT. If the item can be worn, then its ideal, period. Can't point it to specific class as being "best".
