I sure hope SoE(w/e) puts an aug slot in this.It would seem it is about the only item that does not have a Slot 7/8 Augment holder.It's not like it would outshine the other Fabled items that dropped.
ooo amazing. But why oh why couldn't this be +25 mana regen instead?

For a few reasons.
#1: The reason the non-fabled version was so popular/important was because it offered a HUGE regen bonus
#2: There was no mana regen on the original item at all.
#3: Mana regen caps at 15, unless you've dumped nearly 50 AAs into it, at which point it caps at 25, and that's if you're a caster, which this item was not designed for. I'm not sure about the priest classes.
#4: The original tunic sucked in almost every respect except for the regen. The only reason most people went after it was so that their warrior/rogue/monk/berserker didn't have to sit out for so damned long waiting for their health to come back. Then they'd switch it out for their twink breastplate, and jump back into the fray. The fabled version has decent stats, but still sucks in terms of AC for the required level of the item.
#5: Based on character level, the HP regen cap is nearly 70. Much harder to max out. My monk hit the 15 mana regen cap long ago, and is still working on his HP regen (among other things).

can somone please tell me where this king spawns???, i'm lvl 46 druid, trying to lvl high enough to use and get it, but i would like to kno where to get it and if anyone wants to help me get it???, lol thx, and does anyone kno where a half elf get's his journey man stone???, somone told me that u need it to get into LDON, or sometin like that, thx again
The fabled king that drops this spawns in same place as the normal king, in the depths of Sebilis. However fabled mobs only spawn during EQ's anniversary celebrations (In the past few years this has been for about 4 weeks during march/april)

Killed it today with a 70 monk and 70 cleric. Piece of cake still had 80% mana on the cleric. Of course the monk got the fabled.

HAHA, jsc.. you're lieing because he only spawns every 3 days on saryn so he did not spawn 6 times in 6 hours

I got mine today, Karana Server.
Had a 70 Beast, 70 Cleric, 63 Shaman, 70 Bard, 70 Wizard, 61 Warrior, and Me 56 Monk.
Was easy fight with this group.
These Guys ROCK they are the one's who got it for me!
Daishin - Beast, Khasril - Shaman, Gomes - Wizard, Lubian - Bard, Aeylinin - Warrior
Lubian, Gomes, Aeylinin and I spent about 1-2 hours clearing room of trash. Once the Fabled King spawned we called in Daishin our big gun and the rest of the crew to take the King down.

On the FV server nothing is no drop except epic items i believe.

The info is incorrect. The picture is correct-- there is no aug slot on this.

Aye, the original Fungi was also lacking an aug slot. Guess they didn't want us to pu the regen augs in it. :p

Hunted there last night for about 6 hours and Spore king pop 6 times and he dropped fabled fungi 4 of the 6 times
The other 2 times he spawned he must not have been the fabled king then, because the fabled king drops the fabled fungi every time.

Anyone know how often this guy spawns? It seems to take FOREVER!!!!

The normal king is already a long to get him I don't want to think about the fabled, in 10hour camp one time i never even saw the king. While other time for king it was at least a 4hour wait of killing trash for him to spawn if i remember.
36 hr spawn time and ph must be down
