Whats the dps on this stick ??
weight

This is a heavy twig indeed, would've bene nice for Sony to realize this & with @ least fabled version to make it lighter weight. For those that do not have a good 2HB if you have the chance to loot i say congrats.
Also, Inuyashe's statement about weight limit not a factor for lvl 65. i am lvl 65 & whenever my weight hits 25 stones i still lose AC, granted it minimal. It's something Sony needs to address since more & more gear is cookie cutter design & heavier than pure MNK gear though.
regardless, for those that acquire this rare timed Fable T-Staff congrats :-)
sigh

Sorry but after all I went through to get the original item for my monk and then getting the ton po staff this is a real let down for fabled. Level 65 required and the only real upgrade it 9 dmg more, I really don't worry about hps/mana/end when it comes to 2hblunt weapons. If it only had been something like 45/30 and the mob was tougher and a good deal more rare...

basically worthless

This item is basically worthless to a monk, It weighs too much. The only way I'd see my monk using it, is if the rest of my gear is around 15 or so (which it isn't becuase I just added the Fable Bag of Sewn Evil Eye.)

This wepon is a good wep for a monk who likes to kill solo some stuff.. And since this is for 65+, then they shouldnt worry about the wight. The cap for a 65 is something like 30 stones. At 60 it is 25. For someone that says that the wight is too much is just not getting the right gear.. Most EP/Time gear for a monk isnt that much. Even the stuff that you can buy in baz. My monk doesnt have all the uber gear from EP or Time, but only sits at 15 stones. with 4 bags and all his gear. So to say that this is a bank item for someone isnt true.

Hm, for a Monk, you don't know the limits of your own class? :) The weight limit does not go above 24 even at 70, unless you buy the 'Packrat' AA -- which gives a 3% reduction in your total weight per 5AA spent, max 5 levels.

This is heavy, regardless -- but BST won't care.
#REDACTED, Posted: Mar 17 2005 at 6:10 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) As a warrior it's bad enough I have to worry about bsts pushing the mob to the other side of the zone. Now I have to deal with them using stun agro that wont even stun past 55. Not to mention the extra push the stun itself will do. The most depressing thing is when I have to tell a bst not to use cripple. I guess some bsts like to die or suck the cleric oom. Monks are not so bad, well mostly because there are like 10 or less 65+ monks on the server.
omg

Bst's have a pet proc that reduces aggro. Maybe they aren't using it? In a group I usually don't have my pet buffed with any procs. I don't have a problem with warriors maintaining aggro...maybe you suck?

The pet procs which lower aggro is for the pet, not for yourself. Good for kiting groups to allow your pet to get his proc dps without the massive taunt from the procs beastlord pets normally provide.

And if you ever group with me, please....buff your pet. Its substantial dps. On lower level mobs its amazingly good because of its spell interruption rate. Next time you think about not buffing your pet, watch the proc spam fly out of it and calculate the dps and spell interrupts you are losing. The only proc not worth using ever is spirit of the winds or whatever that one is called with the giant knockback. That one spell has tarnished beastlord pet reputation since its creation.

Not sure if it has multiple spawn spots like original Warlord, however it spawned on the bridge between the 2 castles. Solo'd it hit for like 500 to 700 ish so was not too bad.

I (70 Sk 95AA's ac1875/9140hp which is Mute here) beat on him with a 70 Epic'd Monk, 70 Epic'd Shaman and an 55 Monk who happened to run around the corner. We all at one point received a little Shammy Healing. Could it Beeee Saataaan ! Or were you wearing your new Fabled Fungi with the Mad +25 Regen with Bst Crack/ Blessing of replenishment and a Bard Playing AoE heal song in the next room. LOl this is Everquest not Everlore.

had a group ranging from 59 to 70, mostly low 60's. I am a 61 Beastlord. First time it spawned it hit me for 1065 each time, I died before I realized what was happening. Second time, I let the pet tank and dotted and nuked. Both times dropped the fabled tranquil staff. I lost the roll the first time to a 67 BL and the second time I won the roll but someone pointed out that I couldn't use ti for 4 more levels, so I let the 69 BL loot it. Congrats Doucha! Why the heck this is required level 65 is beyond me, 55 would have been better. Next time, I'm taking it!!
