well IF it was pally wearable, 32AC back slot on a pally? only a tarded pally would ask for it. There's way better back slots for a pally avail. I'm an ENC I can wear it, but no way I'd ever put in on it.

This is not, in fact, usable by paladins. I've corrected the entry in the database.

Who cares if this is pally useable........what pally in their right mind would bid on this or be allowed to bid on this.....this is a wizard/mage/druid item

Wiz/mage/dru? Excuse me, but you forgot necro, who can crit 5k on a dot tick casting dread pyre while wearing this Cloak. I know, I've got one. I have also seen rangers bid on it, and SK, as they both get a fire line of spells. The new effects magnify ALL spell lines, be they dot or DD, so don't forget the very powerful dot classes like necros when you see that magic 50% focus.

The classes that can wear it are of course entitled to bid on it, but chanters have no use for it and generally seem to go for the Plagueborn Cape off OMM, and there are way better cloaks for BST, SHM and CLR, and they tend to go for those, at least in my guild. Yes the DD nukers like this Cloak, but it is awesome on a necro.

Any guild that would not allow someone to bid on this item because of one of its attributes, would have some seriously unhappy members.

325 hp/mana
Dot shielding, spell shielding, regen, mana regen, nice resists, decent ac, etc etc etc.

All that stuff is good for any class.

In my guild, anyone who can wear it would be allowed to go in, and the person with the most current DKP would win it. If that's not a mage, wizard or druid, so be it.

My guild, Haven's Edge, prolly wont limit this to druid/wizard/mage... However, they would more then likely decide to give it to those classes over others depending on how much loot the members of those classes got recently. The leaders do take stats, ac, focus's and effects into concideration when deciding loot.

Yes in my guild this would be allowed as well.......but there is a certain consideration to effects to be considered.......50% to a lvl 70 wizard nuke means a 6k nuke........thats a bit more over 325hp....which at this point most classes should have back items that are 250+hp at least...+75hp isn't worth the loss of the effect....

Yes most classes could put in for it but it would be damn selfish for any none fire nuking class to put in for it...it would be like a wizard putting in on a haste belt with 300+HP/mana sure we need HP/mana and yeah we hit things(in fact we get some very very very very decent dam/delay ratio weapons not to mention we get better proc weapons than melee classes...........) but does that mean we put in for them on them....no

Yes the effect is nice. However, I would suspect that any nuking class already has some sort of focus for their nukes, even if it is not 50%. Plus, what if the person who wants it is the guild main tanking knight class (for tanking fearing mobs)? There are certainly encounters that more HP on the tank makes as much or more difference than a better focus on one nuker.

I've seen armor with healing focuses go to pure melees, Instrument mods going to druids, and so forth. IMO, whoever has DKP for it, can wear it, and wants it, should get it.

Personally, I have to agree with elorian. While a good DKP system allows anyone with points to bid, I would regard it as extremely inconsiderate for a paladin to bid on something like this. Sure a paladin could get a lot of use out of this (if he could use it, anyway) but a wizard or druid could get so much *more* use out of it. As a druid, I would love to have this item, but I would pass on it if any of our regular wizards or mages needed it, because they (and thus the raid force as a whole) would benefit so much more from it.

Yes there are focus that are 45% but that 5% is an extra 200 damage per nuke for us.....

I've seen instruement mods go to non bards, I've seen healing go to wizards as well...but only after the appropriate classes got them(usually).

Most of the warriors I know are using Cloak of Regretful Transgressions or Cape of Catastrophe

Both of these require Anguish flagging. We're pretty close to killing Vishimtar, and are not even close to finishing Anguish flagging.

Wow you've killed vish before you've flagging for anguish??

I would have to say its likely... Affliction has beaten Vish a few times and half the guild hasnt even done the MPG trials as a group let alone in a raid... it all depends on which expansion ur focusing on

I agree. Just as a nec/wiz/mag/enc shouldn't waste their dkp on ferocity/fierty strike items, paladins shouldn't waste their points for the dragon fire effect. With guilds clearing Tacvi, Anguish, and this mob as their raid schedule for the next couple of months with no expansion notice yet, I feel their is no need for a paladin to waste dkp for this item such as this one. This mob will be downed by end guilds multiple amounts of times. There are plenty more beneficial 300 hp/mana that are more beneficial then this item above.
RE: umm pally??

Here's the problem, some classes, like mine, Druid, need a ton of focuses, Fire nuke damage, Fire DoT damage, Cold Nuke damage, Magig DoT damage, DoT Extensions, Beneficial Extensions, Beneficial spell haste, beneficial mana pres, beneficial spell range, detrimental mana pres, detrimental spell haste, healing % increase etc. While some, like a cleric or a pally, or most melee need very few if any but a couple focuses. So, while I have to plan every item to ensure I have the right focuses many classes can just grab any item with the right numbers on AC, HPs/ mana and some decent add ons and they are set. So, since these classses don't "need" hardly any focuses and in many cases can not use any or barely any, AND most every high end item in the game has a focus, it is only reasonable for them to be allowed to put in for any item that is tagged for their class.
