- a Whitecap assassin
- a Broodlands worshiper

The Whitecaps in the water gave me two about 2 minutes apart. Cleared other sections of the zone (Broodlands) multiple times without seeing it.
Best place to find this is between the stone dervish and dirtdigger camps in Broodlands. Both of those mob types have a pretty decent drop rate, still kinda rare, but better than anything else.

I forged/killed in broodlands, killed in the north east corner, puma, namer, and goblins seemed to be there (those mentioned in previous posts) got in 1/2 hour from a dirtdigger champion.
Only 2 pumas in zone? And never drop. Kill all mobs and nothing.

Absolutely insane how rare of a drop/forage this item is. And I've been killing everything listed here plus others just to pass the time, forage while I'm fighting, least I'm getting some scale ore and rubicite ores /shrug
Finally got it to drop in the Broodlands off a Dirtdigger assassin.

Boy this has been a pita to get. Parked my 39 druid in Lavaspinner's Lair at the Lavastorm zone line and worked on raising skills levels for casting as well as foraging. After a couple of hours I have the following but no Steaming Water:
2 Marsh Gases
2 Starshine Moss
2 Pitcher Plant
1 Blue Nightwort
1 Mature Silkworm
1 Storm Cloud
2 Limes
1 Firefly
1 Sky Vine
2 Deadly Ivy
1 Marsh Algae
2 Jungle Pineapple
1 Nettle Creeper
1 Luminous Ivy
1 Red Cups
1 Chunk of Ice (go figure?)
1 Air Infused Spring Water
Misc. fruit, vegetables, roots, berries, and pods of water
Frustrating at the least. I'm moving to the Broodlands
