Was working on Burning Rapier and killed him twice in about 1 hr. Really funny to type /ooc Baby Joseph rotting in snake pit...
there's enough toons in blackburrow to make an /ooc viable?

Btw.... found Lord Elgnub easy to spawn, I just spammed a message to the dirty dog calling him Lord Lugnut. He HATES being call that.

This is only the first part of the quest. The second part is in Splitpaw involving the one eyed gnoll (melee) and the gnoll scribe (caster) the final sword has 2 charges of spirit companion. I like the puppy it provides. The faction is good too

Took my 26 Barb Shaman in and never had to lay a hand on Elgnub. Kept rooting and nailing him with 2 DoT's and Frost Strike. Took about 4-5 min to take him out. Wound up selling the sword as I just did the quest for fun. Above LVL 23 most of the Gnolls don't even look at you anyway. Just march down and whack him.
If you want to amuse yourself a little, do this quest then try and sell the baby back to Marton. I did this quest a couple of times for the XP (which is excellent when you add Elgnub + XP for giving baby to dad - lvl 25-27), and this time I thought I would see what happened if I tried to 'sell' rather than 'give'. Well we must question maron's parenting ability as when you 'give' the baby, he gets all mushy and gives you a sword (not a great item, but +5 Bane to Gnolls is handy in Splitpaw and in caves off Jaggedpine). If you try and 'sell' it to him, he says "I will give you absolutely nothing for the Baby Joseph Sayer". I think dad is bi-polar or something.
I like this kid. I can go around any zone now, and /ooc advertise my new Ogre Baby sitting, 8pp an hour. Hire at your own risk. Small print: Ogre is not responsible if child is damaged or eaten due to lack of food.

That is really friggin' funny. I am sorry, but that is hilarious, in a sick and perverted way ;)
It dropped from the Lord and the Lord HTed me for 221. Since I am 50+, I dropped him without any problem. I found him in the snake pit right in front a door which isn't openable.
