It looks like it would be a fun toy to get, just to play with, but the only really practical purpose I can see for this would be to raise your 2-h slash skill to cap...and if your skill isn't already capped at 65, you've been slacking anyway. Eating ripostes or damage shields with one of these would keep a whole heal rotation of clerics oom, lol...

Fool, this is a decap weapon. Where weapon base damage doesn't matter.
Here is what the hilt looks like at least when worn :-)

I for one as a pally prolly wouldn't go fomr something like this seeing that ripost and such are no good for a tank. now a ranger and or zerg mostly would be great with this adding real nice dps not hitting as hard but more often.
Give it to a ranger, berserker or warrior since pal/sk get crazy ratio'd 2handers.

I'm sorry I'm sick of seeing people who have no idea on what high end is, if you had a clue about the game you would know that SKs and Paladins use 1hers because of the AA shield block that lets them block incoming damage with that being said, you throw in the bonus of more AC and HP with using a 1h + Shield any sk or paladin that dosne't tank using 1h + Shield is a fool

DoN came out after OoW, so the 1.5s and 2.0s were in game at this point.
Tanking you are right. Sk/Pally should tank with 1h and shield.
However, how do you know he doesn't mean dps wise? There's 2 types of "highend".
1. Time, GoD (mid god-> Uqua, etc) ... they get very nice ratio 2h's.
2. Tacvi (end of GoD), Anguish ... they get the nice ratio 1h's.
So it's either "highend", or "endgame" sk/pallies.
To each his own i would say. With that said, any weap/gear that is usable by a class listed implies it would be great for each and every one of those classes where they an upgrade for the person.

think yall might wanna remember their epic is 2hs, with the best ratio. and in a lot of endgame encounters your NOT gonna be having a pally tank. also for the mobs u cant get behind, the slowness of a 2hs cuts down the ripostes. for the paladin with 2.0( delay of 40 and max haste you swing around every 2 seconds. with over 100 actualy wpn damage then the damage bonus for 2hs your gonna be doin a hella lot more good the raid. More often youll see a shield tank in an xp group, not a raid, yea i know there are some exceptions but dont flame me. or do it you like its all the same

dual wielding will always outdamage or outagro any 2hander. Thus these go best to the ones that cant dual wield.

Nice stats but as a pally no way would I put in for this, it just hits too fast and ripostes are a pain. The 20 delay is faster than most of the 1 handers I have so if I am going to eat riposts let me put on a shiled and hope shild block helps limit that. Also the 20 delay mans the damage bonus is almost nothing, and that nonus is what makes a 2hander atractive as a dps weapon for pally/sk.
Heh, I wouldnt really mind this on my main here, I mean a 2hs with 20 delay would be awsome for my warrior :) i mean yea this is a nice a sword but i do agree with Drm here, there is way better things especially in Tacvi (GoD Zone)
