I just checked Garren D`Vek & Jala for "Quill" and they only carry "A Quill". So, if they used to carry it, it has changed. Which creates a problem... where CAN you get a "Quill"?
in neriak commons from the tailoring shop in the eastern part....there also is sold the large bottle of ink and book bindings needed
Thats the wrong one...you need just "Quill" for DoN quest armor not "A Quill"
quill and a quill are used, for the tailoring armor patterns "a quill" worked, but the symbol patters for tailoring the "quill" worked for me

also found on vendor Nerissa Clothspinner in North Qeynos neg 7 pos 1 in front of Ironforge Estate. IF not there she is roaming and will return in a few minutes. she not in vendor mode while on the move
