Book Text:

The Iksar armor symbols
contained in this book
arose from an ancient
language spoken during the
height of the Sebilisian
empire. Because Iksar are
already gifted with
impressive natural
defenses, these armor
symbols instead focus on
the enhancing the physical
and mental prowess the
wearer. The text
elaborates to recount many
battles fought by the Iksar
and the various strategies
used to overcome the
opposition. "All great
battles," it concludes,
"are determined not on the
battlefield but rather in
the minds of the
combatants." Needless to
say, the symbols held in

this book require a focused
mind, a warrior's spirit
and many hours of
meditation before they can
be fully mastered.

This book contains the
intermediate Sebilisian
armor patterns. Known for
raw energy and unfocused
magic, these symbols are
typically worn by senior
ranking Iksar crusaders who
command the field of
battle. The runes require
a substantial degree of
combat experience before
they can be properly
harnessed in battle. You
know that you will be able
to reproduce this pattern
many times before the book
becomes worn and you must
replace it.

To create pattern for
tailoring armor templates
based on these patterns you
will need this book, a
large bottle of ink, a roll
of good quality vellum, a
quill and a compacted
backpack to hold the
patterns you will make.
You'll also need a book
binding to do the work.
