Omens of Wari have not had any problem pulling either chailak or fel in rss as a monk ,of course i dont get
the luxury of sitting while i sent my pet out to do my work.
i dare say that that must have been tiresome to pet pull that way to the camp
i hope your clerics where still awake when you got there.
i am glad there are a few monk only weapons that are decent like these and hope that soe continues down this path of
non bst/monk weapons or will see there way clear to give use a 65% slow as well.
we do just fine without a pet thanks.

Vryan, lol... you are such a DUMBASS I dont know where to begin. Ok perfect example of something to contradict what you just said is a monk tried to pull Chailak in RSS and could not pull it off. I pull up a lower lvl pet, buff it up, and pet pull the bish first try, so umm ... beasts can pull too. Just keep lower pet up and put rune on it every pull...

got these this past week, drop rate seems to be 1/5 for my guild, we're really good at getting weapons to drop it seems ^_^. goes nicely wiht my hallowed bloodclaw of shadows. set til anguish ^_^.

Posted: Feb 17 2006 at 8:21 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Well with maxed out haste it wouldn't really help much because it wont go any lowe than 20 delay.It's delay is probably going to be higher than 23 do to the damage it lacks speed.Epic 2.0, Transcended fistwraps of Immortality would be better because even though it is 2 damage less,its 6 delay faster.If you had maxed out haste with that it would make a better all around weapon due to stats.Such stats on 2.0 example:resists are 20+,HP is 60 more than this weapon,and it has flying kick +15.All this weapon has is 2 more damage and a proc.Epic 2.0 has 2 proc not to mention 3 aug slots once you have done the augmentable quest.It shows as unauged but it actually adds 30 more hp which only works on 2.0's aug slot type 13.You can put damage augs from DoN camps which will make 4 procs on the weapon which would be better than a weapon with a proc+ 1 more.So now you decide KeivTPX.You want maxed out haste on this or 2.0?

Epic 2.0s have no procs on them. They only have two aug slots where you can put either a proc, or in the case of the type 8 slot, a proc or +damage augment. As for demiplane quest, it doesn't add and aug slot, nor does it add an augment. It is believed that the 'aug' was datamined by Lucy, and perhaps Magelo, as it only shows as adding the extra effects.

Looks like Golden Wraps of the Compact or Handwraps of Captured magic when equipped, gold fist with gold particle effect. Hoping these drop soon, two hate wins still no sign of them.
Beastlords whine because even if you gave a beast this weapon their dps is mainly from spells and their pet. Though a well geared beast can do a bit of dps with weps if they have the aa's to match.. and to other posters, monks have their uses. If their were useless then you would see more high end guilds not having any monks period .. most usually have one or 2
Hate to break your imagination from running wild Ophidion but Bsts DPS comes mainly from the Bst with the pet lagging quite a long way behind. Spells do make up a decent amount of DPS as well. What we cry about is SoE not realising our division of power, and what gets me is that I haven't seen any Bst only 1 hander in MPG trials, although don't think Mnks get a 2 hander that is Mnk only may be wrong though.
Ok since were done listening to the beastlords Whine and cry about how its not beast usable.
Does anyone know what the graphic on this item looks like? Not that it matters alot - I dont want it anyhow ,, one has never dropped for us yet, I'm waiting for crystal hilted shinai or fangs of the serpent anyways. But just curious, and besides it nice to have a post about the actual item in question instead of Beast whines

Damn beast get it Fine, If anyone is getting screwed Its monks~ your choices of weapons are fine, And equal if not better. Plus your a damn hyrbid with a pet and spells. Were pure mellee we SHOULD get better weapons. Monks are becoming extinct as it is already 1 Monk per 10 damn beastlords.

woah there spanky. just remember that when mobs need to be pulled, beasts may as well have amtrack written on their backs. yes beasts are nice and i have an alt, but when it's time to get down, it ain't the beastlords who get it done. you have your place and we have ours. we should get better weps cause we dont have pets or spells, its as simple as that. yes we are a rare breed anymore, but that is probably because most classes have been dummied WAY down, but monking requires skill. so go feed fido and whine to him about how monks aregetting this and that. leave this board to folks who have something informative to say.

i agree with bad on this one. try to play a lvl 70 monk. pull north wall in WoS without training your group and come back and say we arent worth a ****. that was possibly the most ignorant statement i have ever read on an EQ board. to top it off Monks are the best duelists at the high end. not to mention one of the best DPS classes at the high end. so take your lil opinion and cram it in your ***!
Nicely said Vryan, Monk's in the higher end raiding are one of the most important classes, so you tell me... how the F*** are a high end guild gonna get through without monk's??

Very nice weapon wish bst could get a bst only 1hander with stats like these.
There are better things that drop for beast.

YER IF YA CAN NAME 1 BETTER/EQUAL BEAST ONLY WEP IN THE GAME PLEASE DO SO.
There are almost no beast only weps in EQ and the few there are are no where near this .Beasts are the last class to get any decent 2hb weps also as we don't get triple or even decen't double attack. there has been no movement on soe's part to even look at the issue of poor beast dps at the higher end of the game. beasts got the short stick in both spells and aa's in oow NO new stat buffs no new resist buffs and weak upgrades to mana and attack buffs .

You see, you played whats called a HYBRID. It means you got some of monk's abilities and some of shaman's.
It means you have melee and spells (hey, and even a pet).
So ya see, you don't get to have all the cool melee stuff that monks get (better weapons, higher melee skills, cooler melee aa's), and you don't get to have all the cool caster stuff shaman have (bigger heals, better buffs, better debuffs).
Its called a compromise. You have to accept it because youre a hybrid. Youre never going to be as good as a monk in melee, and youre never gonna be as good as a shaman in casting. Youre stuck somewhere in between.
Whining and moaning about it just makes you look like a noob who has no idea that beastlords are a hybrid of 2 other classes.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by this... there are plenty of BST usable 2HBers out there. Cudgel of the Watchful Dragorn is BST only even. I don't know for sure, but I doubt a majority of high end guilds use a merit system. So a BST will get the 2HB of his choice as soon as he is willing to spend an appropiate amount of dkps I guess...
