Great stats for anyone, but don't see why ANY caster type would deserve it more than any other. I don't see Magician listed below, and they do almost all their nuke damage with Fire-based spells.
Wizard has great use for this, generally the nukes we prefer to use are fire. Really its a sweet item for any class who can use the focus effect.
Well, I got this, so it definately belongs best to mage class

For a Necro it doesn't get any better.... (at least until they come up with a 45% burning affliction) Our best DoTs are the fire line and on most big mobs you sometimes will be stacking your best 2 fire DoTs because they are relatively low mana, very infrequent resists, and shortish duration / high damage. Coupled with the ikkinz foci that are 45% to poison and some magic focus for the curse lines... you're talking about 1500-2250 a tick before crits. :) This is a great item for most casters... well, the ones that matter anyway :D

Imho i think the focus would suit a druid the best, followed by wizards and maybe even rangers. Stats wise, it is aimed at casters. Pretty nice earring all around.

If it were only for dd's it'd have a "4: Limit: Instant spells only" tag in the focus description ... it's a nice earring all around yeah, focus wise though necro's fireline is on a -100 resist check druids fireline is on a -30, wizards is on -10, if it comes down to who's going to benefit most i'd say necro though a wiz would do more damage than either if they weren't resisted
tho you missed Mage enitirely, who do almost ALL of their DPS through fire based spells and therefore would benefit the most, would they not?

STFU with this is for this class, and that is for that class...granted the focus will best used on a caster with fire based nukes, but notice who CAN use it? thats right ALL/ALL.
guilds who can obtain this loot will either run on a DKP system, in which case whoever is willing to spend the most points on it will get it, or an officer vote system. in which case raid attendance, past loot awards, most beneficial to and whats currently in the slot to be replaced will be condsidered before awarding.
in EITHER case its gonna goto someone who needs it, that being ANY class or race.

You didn't list the "other" 2 lines of fire nukes wizards get with -30 resist check and -300 (lures). On boss mobs in Anguish I find myself chain casting lures more often than not. The dps is slightly less but I can't stand wasting 800+ mana on 0 dmg. and would rather have the consistant dmg curve. So to rebut your statement about who should or should not get it, if the wizard so chose to, they would get the benefits from this focus 100% of the time, unless the mob were fire immune.
PS. Not saying who should or should not get this, just pointing out a flaw in your reasoning.
