Dropped for me. August 23rd, 2007. Was our guild's 20th time on Ture. Luckily enough, I'm the only Monk in our guild that actually attends our raids. Hitting for upwards in 1.3k with this baby. A true must have for Monks.
The oldest recorded Ture kill I could find for my guild been on Nov 1st 2004 - since then we've been killing him every 6-7 days, which results in about 33 kills. In these ~33 kills we got exactly 2 of these Staffs.
Everything about this weapon glows monk only.. the mana part is obviously an error. :) If it would be beast i think you would find wis stat on it like on all other BST/MNK items (not that i think either monk or beast need the stats when able enter Anguish). Aug it up with that new hate aug from DoN (Deep Crust Fire Geode that they for some reaseon put all/all on!!) and you have a decent monk tank weapon when no noone better avail. After all.. a monk able to enter Anguish is definately able to tank quite a bit(7k+ HP unbuffed unless piggybacked all the way). Monks are known to steal agro way better than they keep it. hehe im just playing with the thought here.
OMG I KNOW WHAT THE MANA IS FOR!!! in the new expansion they are giving monks spells and mana OMFG NO WAY! WOOT!!! Thats got to be it right? riiiiight? *shifty eyes*
right, why have anything this strong. Let's see, get to level 70. Get into a guild that's equipped enough for such a mob. Get a raid together. Get everyone into this zone. It's locked. Get all the way down to this guy. Get a res cause you died. Get a strategy hoping you win on the first attempt. Get all your buds on again the next night. Repeat the last few steps. Get a different strategy. Hope you guessed right. Some time passed like a moth or so. Say this time you won. Yeah, who needs something this rewarding for the work you just did. This guys should drop a Fine Steel Hammer and nothing else. That'd be better for the risk vs reward.
It's kinda retarded, if not so, but anyhow, Alla actually uses that formula. Notice how in damage ratio, it's 0.421? That's 32/76, not 76/32. Maybe you just don't have brains, but one can read the dmg/dly or dly/dmg any way they want. (Also note how delay comes before damage on the inspect item window.) Got milk?
