I went to the bazaar to buy a couple and there wer 4 people selling them. 3 were selling for 500 - 1000, and one guy was selling 2 of em for 75p. Woowoo! rushed over, and then my ninja sense told me to check Alla, so I did, and guess what? I findthis post! Thanks for saving me a trip and 150p! You know, no one was selling the Ikaav braids? Just selling these useless ones for amazing money.
Tattered Ikaav Braid sells for 17 plat 1 gold 4 silver 3 copper to Sateal Deirosap vendor in the bazaar offered by level 2 human monk with 143 cha.. Current bazaar price is 100 plat... on Bertox server...

a bud of mine stated the other day that this is used in the deathcaller's armor...
rule of thumb... if any item sells to/from vendor for 1cp and is from OoW, thens its for quest armor, if sells to/from vendor for more then 1cp, not used in quest for oow :) hope this helps you for the armor
