Ukun quill x2 = free, if you don't buy it. The point of the 1 group quest gear is to collect the items, not buy them. The drops are not common, but if you grind in OOW a lot, they are obtainable.
Also, note that all these pieces can drop in nobles causeway and ruined city of dranik, making them obtainable to people who don't have the gear to consistently do wall of slaughter.

Perhaps if you plan to make a comment about the relative worth of an item, on the ONLY pvp server, you should clarify that in your first comment. In case you had not noticed, EVERY OTHER SERVER is not pvp.
OOW faction is a pain, but it is nowhere near impossible to raise. I have an SK friend who farmed the entire set, except for bp and legs, with almost no pieces purchased from the bazaar.
Also, I like how my post is supposed to be "stating the obvious" yet your little stats comparison is somehow the most amazingly insightful piece of work.
Now, to answer your other question, if you already have the mantle of rebirth, the advantage of having these sleeves is certainly reduced, but I would rate these as an upgrade from the armguards of repentance, even then. The resists are pretty close to a wash, and the difference in ac/mana is significant.
Please also note, I was comparing these to ornate in my original post, then you REPLY TO ME, with some completely different comparison, and when I reply back you turn toward your typical bitter drivel.
Whatever issues you have, that make you so unhappy, will not be solved by attempting to insult people here.

Actually IMO it's very worth it to aquire each piece of gear for your class, seeing that Teir 2 items are the best in game for their respective slots. But hey who I am to think:P
And next will come the comments about people not being Uber enough for tier 2 drops. Well my reply to that is don't worry about the items then if you can't get em. There are better slots for some, that are easy to aquire.

The devs have stated on the SOE board that the effect on this will be nerfed to 20%, as the wrong effect is on it. It will be replaced with IH5.
I have a question with regards to the Focus Effect on this piece of armour, it would appear to become useless if you also have the Sanctified Chestguard.
I assume the increased healing effect of 50% will overwrite 25% on this piece, unless they stack, but I don't see SoE allowing a 75% increase in healing.

I think the effect on BP is triggered IE a buff you have to click ... Im guessing there is a recast timer on it and that it doesnt stack with other buffs but it does seem like the BP clicky would stack with a worn Focus like this for what ever short duration that clicky woudl last.
Thank you very kindly for your response. I noticed that the BP effect is indeed a clicky, and if it does stack, that would make this combo a phenomenal armour set, 75% increase in heals would make the Cleric's short cast heals incredible.
