Basically, don't take a pick up group if you want this. Take a guild group or a group of friends, that way you can hopefully avoid this item going to someone who won't use it.
It's a sad fact that people will roll on an item just because they can, and this happens a lot more in pick-up groups.

This is basically one of the best single-group weapons for a melee. Serpent's Spine and Burning Sea may have better ratios, but they are harder to get. More importantly, Despair has a req level of 68, TSS and TBS weapons have a req level of 75. Which means you can be using this beauty much earlier.
If you are a caster who doesn't melee (almost all cloth classes), there are better items for you. Items with effects which boost your spells, of course. The proc on this weapon is really good. A sizable lifetap which is very hard to resist (-200). If you don't melee it's a waste to have this item.

Only way I can see that someone was retarded or greedy is if they are a class that can't use the item, and seeing as this very nice weapon can be used by all classes, then anyone that can use it should be able to roll on it, imho....Anyway, I use this in my secondary and woot, I love it...It procs alot, so means I use less healing potions when soloing hehehe If you get a chance to roll on this, by all means go for it and goodluck....

Can casters wield this in secondary?
to be able to equip this in secondary, you need duel wield.

they sure can equip and wear it in secondary, but it would act as a shield(cept you can't bash with it) and you can't swing. there are items that ppl can use in main that don't have damage on it, so you can't atk with it, its not flagged as a weapon, but more like wearing 2 shields, even though many of those can't be used to bash...hope that helps

it looks pretty much just like the image. a small greenish-brown club with an eye-like design on it.
at end of trial mobs dont despawn FYI we had to finish them before being able to loot the chest ( we had 1 of the unfearabled wolfs left :p )
while searching for shields this item popped up in search list

Shishkebab is totaly correct, No Boss, just kill enough waves within 15 min and the Shell will spawn in middle of room.

We received this after beating Trial of Fear today in MPG. There is no final boss in this trial.
you would think when taking screenshots for allakhazam's, they would think of editing out the little bits only shown by MQ2.

I fail to see how there is danger in this knowledge -- knowing where the information comes from is hardly indicative that someone is using such software themselves.
