Has anyone tried MQing the parts yet?

Have had all 4 pieces for three weeks now, been trying to raise Dranik Loyalist faction the entire time. Started at dubious, now at amiably. Takes forever!! Work on your faction while collecting the pieces if you can, the murks give no faction. Should have this next week I hope.
I was helping a druid friend kite murgliders to get the parts for this quest when the Battleleader cloak dropped for me. Druid also got all 4 parts of the sword from murkgliders near the DS zone, so I think the parts can drop from any mob in the zone.
I can imagine it's nice for us necros too. Lifetaps, I believe, are affected, and of course we and clerics get undead nukes.
edit: oops. says detrimental only, so I'm guessing that excludes lifetaps. that would have been sweet. I'll find out some day, anyway.

It will affect all your dd type spells, including lifetaps. So, all your dd spells - regardless of type, be it undead, poison, fire, lifetap (lifetaps are considered magic except for Gangrenous Touch of Zumuul) etc - will have their dmg improved with this focus item. By the way, it is not always a straight 20% increase off the base damage. It's random, UP TO 20% over the base damage.
