I have a friend, Lvl 70 bard, who has kited the murks near the WoS zoneline in NC for 3 full aa's in exp and not had a single drop of this item. She gets 3% aa exp solo, and about 2% when duoing, and the pp from gems and trash loot is not bad.

Got one of these off of a murkglider in RCoD. No clue what they're for, but I've killed a fair amount of murks and this is the first one I recall seeing.
Also dropped off Murkglider just inside zone of Noble's Causeway.
