Saw this for the first time last night when some one linked and asked if it was anew aug. Someone replied that it was old and rare (I had never seen before). After an hour break I came back and killed a noc on the way to the PoD and it droped for me, strange twice in one night when all the hunting I had done there and never saw it.

I was bored so went aug hunting... cast ward of vengance on me.. and pulled like 30 mobs... this was the only aug that dropped in like 5 such pulls...

Got one last nite off a lesser noctulis bat (sp?) in one of the caves that go to the expeditions. Was bored waiting for a member to comeback from LD land so just started whacking bats and rats. Imagine my suprise.
these have dropped for me from just about every mob in draniks scar....several have rotted ....most have droped off the nocs near the grand historian....Truebeliever he of max ally faction with dranik's loyalist...and stonnie finally warmly with DL..hehe.../salute and GL to all

I have pwn'd greenies in this zone w/ my 70 mage just goofin off for probly 25 hours total and never seen this once.

Finally got OOW today was there maybe 45 minutes had this drop off a Peon then another dropped for me about 1/2 hour after that some guy paid me 5k to loot it am i missing something? seems a little much for what it offers

Had one drop from a LB-con (to my 55 Necromancer) "a noc" (not the "a noc havocblade", just the ordinary "a noc") while aggro kiting for AA XP.
got one soloing in DS with my level 51 necro on 2nd kill from a Dragorn Commoner
Got one off an Ukun in Dranik's Scar. Easy kill. Nice drop.
I was up by the Bloodfields zone killing nocs and such for Dranik Loyalists faction and in just 3 or so hours everyone in our group had one ... yippee!

2 dropped in DS today and i got to loot one.
I have killed probably 100+ of the Dragorn Peons and NEVER seen this. It must be ultra rare

I was just tooling around killing mobs while farming some of the named in DS while looking for a group and one of these dropped from a Dragorn Peon if I remember correctly.
Not bad...I think this is a random drop from many of the mobs in the zone.

Can this be upgraded like the others?
The upgradable augments will have the "This item can be used in tradeskills" notation, so no, this one doesn't appear to be upgradable.
A friend got one off the rats and bats (not sure which) inside the caves that lead to the expedition zones tonight. So chances are any random zone mob will (very rarely) drop it.
I also looted it from the caves

I have seen 2 of these drop off of Dragorn Peons in Dranik's Scar. Both times by the Ukun Gutfeaster camp.
