This weapon isn't nearly as good as it seems because it is Secondary slot only. If this thing were usably in Primary, it would be ungodly

Parr used to wear full Cobalt, that is in fact a cobalt BP he is wearing in the picture.
He just liked the look, and there are very few warriors with full cobaly on CT, he just liked being unique.
He doesn't wear Cobalt anymore, however. :(

Delay is not, and never has been capped at 10. This was a rumor stemming from the fact that the server-side something-or-other (techy-stuff) couldn't register any damage faster than every 1 second in the early days of EQ. It wasn't officially capped, but until Kunark, I believe, this problem existed. There is no delay cap.
I believe it's a soft cap. It's possible to have weapons with a lower delay than 10 (look at bixie stinger pre nerf) but I believe they still acted as if they were 10 delay. So, no 10 isn't the minimum delay. But, yes it is at the same time.

10 delay is the fastest Graphics can show, but not the cap. Lots of weapons fully hasted break the 10 cap

That isn't a Half Elf, that's a Human Warrior wearing Cobalt Bp, etc. My guess is that's a Warlord's or Campion's Helm, Customed.

i personally believe the Bp is a Warlord Breastplate too...i mean if he can get this weapon and the Warlord Helm...why would he being wearing a Cobalt Bp...i am 99.99% sure that it is a Warlord Bp or something even better..

that is cobalt. warlords is a lighter blue, more teal color. he is wearing cobalt breastplate.

Actualy I didn't mean to say "Customized Kael Quest Armor".. I meant to say "Warrior Kael Quest Armor".

That IS a customized racial crown... I own one.
And that sure looks like customized Kael quest warrior armor to me... have you taken the time to PLAY a human? The armor looks dark because the dude is BLIND... and if you look at the background the sun is nearly done setting. If it were day-light, he was a different race, or someone cast Acumen on him it would look lighter and you would not be having this debate.
Sometimes I think more people should play the Human race so they can understand the pain we go through at night.

It is Cobalt armor. I looked at Parr's profile a while back and he did wear a full suit of Cobalt armor for the look.

I know this a little off topic but in that pic thats a pretty cool looking Helm that Half-Elf has on. I wonder what class that guy is to have a helm like that. Anyone know anything about that Helm? Those appear to be Dragon Wings. 2 THUMBS UP!!

Where do you get the information on Effects? Also, can you clarify a little for me? What does it mean in layman's terms when you say from 34 (L29) to 65 (L60) Does this mean for a Level 29 player it is 34 damage, at 30 would be 35 etc to 65 points at lvl 60?
Is there a website which lists all the spell effects in the game? If so, can you post it?

It's offhand only, so the delay doesn't matter as much - no damage bonus when hitting with your offhand. It's still a great weapon now, though, and I regret that we had some of the pre-upgrade ones rot (6/15 if memory serves).

I'm pretty sure they nerfed that 12/16 rogue piercer to be 11/17 now. I might be mistaken.
Not only that but the proc is a Str and Agility debuff that DoT for around 263...

It can not be stressed enough the importance of working up several different weapon skills. From level 1 onward I alternated 1H slash with piercing. When i got duel wield I used a 1H slash weapon with a piercing weapon. This weapon is the best reason I have seen yet to have worked so hard on multiple weapon skills. I only hope someday (sigh) to be able to get one of these.

piercing is pretty easy for a warrior to raise at 30 my warrior decided he wanted a sheild of slain unicorn for the ac, however he couldn't use peircing to save his life. Grab to fs daggers zone into solb tell people that you are not trying to ks them but working on peircing and poke away with the 2 very fast weapons it was only a matter of a couple hours before he had maxed out peircing, and the enchanter buffs helped ;) 1hb was also easy grab 2 black jacks find some blues that people are pulling and go to town 2hb ... that was another story all together.
is this the lowest dly yet? 15 seems pretty fast and even faster with an enchanter or nice haste item!

No, there are other items that have lower delays.... the paladins have a sword that is a air plane quest. its 2dam 6del... ) Monks also had a mossy twig.. cant remember stats but it was stupidly fast.

And the Pally blade from Plane of Air was a DROP (not a quest) from Bazzt Zzzt and it no longer drops, or it is so reported.

twig was 3dam 10dly, but alas it no longer drops
