Ocean of Tears - an old shark
* highest spawn area is south of Cyclops Island. Spawn rate seems to be 2-5 minutes. Approximately 20-30 spawn in the area along the old Freeport Boat path south of Seafury Cyclops island.
* After about 30 or so kills, obtained 10 Shark Meat.

I have looted shark meat off Sharks in Cobalt Scarr. Seemed quit common.

The quantity of Sharks in Cobalt Scar is very low, more barricudas than sharks.
Best to farm sharks in OOT, around the shipping lane south of Cyclops Island. Higher quantity even though the meat drops about 1:10

Can some kind being tell me where the best place to hunt shark meat is?

You can buy shark meat from an NPC vendor only if some PC just offloaded it. It is no longer in any merchant's regular stock. Verant nerfed it to prevent people from doing this quest over and over.

I've been hunting sharks in Ocean Of Tears with my Beastlord, right off shore on the island you get translocated to. Fairly easy, they con mostly light blue to green at lvl 21 and drop alot of shark skin, but meat too, and sometimes gems and words.
