Glowing Concoction  

 

I just made it with an unmodified skill of 99 (modified 100). It said it was trivial (can no longer advance your skill ...) but the recipe list won't show it to confirm the trivial.

Was just working on brewing for the first time for this... Easiest way to go if you are like me and are clueless of the tradeskill. Best place is in PoK in my opinion.
Fairly cheap tradeskill - only spent maybe 50p total getting to a skill of 165. There is alot of confusion as to what level the Glowing Concoction can be made - I still am unsure. I tried at 100 but got the message "I am too inexperienced in my craft to even consider attempting this combination). I continued brewing and made it to 130. I decided to attempt it once again. The next thing I know is me standing there with the Glowing Concoction in my hand. It said that it is trivial at a skill of 130. So here is my little walkthrough.

All items are store bought, except Vegetables, but will tell you how to make them so you don't sit there all day with your pocket druid foraging all day =)

From a skill of 0 - 31
Create: Short Beer
Ingredients: (1) Cask (Bargol Halith; 3 silver, 1 copper each)
(1) Barley (Bargol Halith; 1 silver, 5 copper each)
(1) Hops (Bargol Halith; 1 silver, 5 copper each)
(1) Malt (Bargol Halith; 1 silver, 5 copper each)

From a skill of 31 - 68
Create: Ale
Ingredients: (1) Water Flask (Perago Crotal; 1 silver each)
(1) Cask (Bargol Halith; 3 silver, 1 copper each)
(1) Barley (Bargol Halith; 1 silver, 5 copper each)
(1) Malt (Bargol Halith; 1 silver, 5 copper each)

From a skill of 68 - 102
Create: Vegetable Oil (be sure to use first one, not "Vegetable Oil (4). It will just waste vegetables)
Ingredients: (1) Water Flask (Perago Crotal; 1 silver each)
(1) Vegetable - Here is the deal with these. Sure, if you have them already.. use them. If not. Purchase:
(1) Mixing Bowl (Perago Crotal; 1 silver each)

Now you will need to buy the following to create Vegetables in your Mixing Bowl:
- Lettuce (Perago Crotal; 2 silver, 6 copper each)
- Carrot (Perago Crotal; 2 silver, 6 copper each)
- Turnip (Perago Crotal; 2 silver, 6 copper each)

Combine: (1) Lettuce
(1) Carrot
(1) Turnip
This will create you (1) vegetable per successful combine.


From a skill of 102 - 162
Create: Jumjum Spiced Beer (this is not going to show up if you do a search for it, so you will need to click "experiment" unless you have made one before)
Ingredients: (1) Jumjum Stalk (Daleen Leafsway in Rivervale - near the farm and
druid guild) Don't remember the price, but they are on the
cheap end, about the same as the rest of the ingredients
(1)Bottle (Bargol Halith; 5 copper each)
(1)Hops (Bargol Halith; 1 silver, 5 copper each)
(1) Water Flask (Perago Crotal; 1 silver each)
(1) Spices (Culkin Ironstove - (7 copper each)
Baking Supplies Merchant - right around the corner from Perago
Cortal
(1) Barley (from our buddy Bargol Halith; 1 silver, 5 copper each)

The Jumjum spiced beer will take you to 162, but the Glowing Concoction will be trivial well before that, not quite sure when.
