To Proc or Not to Proc

As a beastlord the +HP, Mana, and Endurance is nice enough I do not really care about the proc "problem". It is interesting to note that a lot of the mobs around WoS are immune to the proc and also to the Vamp touch aug that I added.
Why is the Ykesha proc on this weapon?

The Ykesha Proc only works on mobs 55 and below correct? If thats the case, why would this proc be placed on an item that a 65+ mob drops? and in a zone that is 65+. I dont believe I would loot this then run to KC to use it. Or is beacuse the mob will be immune to it when it procs and cause a certain amount of aggro that way? Just don't make sense to me.

The Ykesha damage will still hit on a proc, but the stun will only land on mobs up to 55. Aggro is gained by attempting to cast a spell, and some people believe that a resisted spell generates more aggro than one that's taken in full. In short, Ykesha is still a good aggro proc.

If target is immune to stun (55+ mob for Yak proc or just a mob naturally immune to stun) you get no noticable aggro. Only aggro in this case would come from proc dmg.

wrong. it doesn't matter. you get that aggro and even more because stun isn't a static amount of aggro. the higher level the mob, the more aggro you get.

I agree that the word immune means not effected by. However it is easy to test wheather you generate aggro by casting stun on a mob that is immune to stun.
I took my paly to EF and cast stun on a giant being fought by a high lvl warrior, yes i asked permission.
The result was instant aggro.
I've also notic above lvl 55 mobs change targets from the ykesha proc from the agument that drops in BF.

So you do get aggro from hitting a stun immune mob with a stun proc. I think the key to understanding why this happens is to imagen what the code would look like, and to understand that stun mean to not move and to have your casting interupted.
So the code might have lines that say
Stop all movement for x seconds
Interupt all casting.
But there is no damage accocated with the above actions so you also need a line tht says
Rase Y's agro by Z amount.
So when the mob is immune to stun it has lines of code that would say
When stun happens do not stop moving
When stun happens contuin casting spells.
The lazy programers just didn't see a need to put in extra code to remove the aggro part of the stun code lines.

So in the end the mob isn't effected by the stun as it keeps moving, and it keeps casting.

singing

Shouldn't that read Singing +50%? For example, the Necklace of the Melodic Dragon says 20 on the item which is +100%.

The standard convention on the bard boards would call this 1.5, which means multiply the song effect by 1.5. Alla's convention would mean add 50%.

You are correct this should be a 150%, or 50% above base skill

If the graphic is right then this is +75% (15 x 5)
