This thing rocks...

Yeah...so I looked this thing up here on Alla's when I was thinking about buying it...decided what the heck (especially when i found one for less than 1k). Bought it, stuck it on my warrior, banked my food and waited...5 (or so) minutes later, I realized my stats had jumped significantly. Inspected this item, and sure enough, full stats. BTW, my warrior is lvl 36 atm, and as others have said...full stats.

Granted...the "You are Hungry" message gets a but old, but besides that...I have had no problem with the item at all. At my present level, I have no problem with endurance regen...although at higher levels I am sure it will become an issue...until then the benefits are about half a greater heal...a HUGE help, especially when I am boxing with my shaman.

Anyway, I just thought I would throw this out there. I am really liking this item...I may update as I progress in levels...especially if I begin to notice a downside.

I hope this helps, especially for you lower lvl warriors, a relatively cheap way to come across 75+ more HP, not to mention the extra +10 DEX...some minor tests have shown it definitely helps with proc rates.

I have this equipped on my SK. It will affect your ability to Meditate (like NO Med mana recovery). If you have KEI or some FT items, its not so bad. But I wouldnt equip this without at least FT2.

Non mana dependant types, WAR, MNK, ROG and possibly BRD would benefit most from this item. Please note that you can still equip drinkable stat food and it doesnt affect the stats any.

Unless I'm wrong I thought that endurance follows the same rules as mana regen and if hungry it should not regenerate as well. If so then this would make this charm fall into the same catagory for pure melees as well as hybrids. There are much better charms available that don't require this much of a penalty.

Maybe Im bugged but Ive been walking around with no food for about 20 RL hours with this thing, Im getting the spam that Im hungry, however my END goes right back up after I use an ability so far << knock on wood >> Im not seeing any penalties, I do carry KC for a stat drink, maybe that has something to do with it. Im just waiting to see the negatives... I know there coming. there! they are...no thats a rock

Safe hunts and rare drops to you!

Although it has a recommended level (60), the stats are at full value from level 1.

I have these on my two iksars (monk and SK) and they are great because they can just forage occasionally and maintain the stats without getting too hungry. I do have to eat periodically to stave off the adverse effects of hunger, although I have not yet found a point at which I can eat and maintain stats. For example, after seeing a few messages telling me that I am hungery, I will forage someting and consume it, losing my stats, but just for a few minutes. I imagine there is a point at which I could avoid the negative effects of hunger while maintaining the potency of the charm, but I have not figured that out yet (too lazy to time this stuff).

Excellent piece of equipment for those races (iksar, wood elf) and classes (ranger, bard) that can forage. Beastlords would also have an easy time managing hunger since they can summon food. Other melee and hybrid classes would have to learn to bake and carry around a collapsible spit with inedible ingredients, which could be a hassle (edible goo is an obvious choice now that fire beetle eyes are stackable).

Great charm for those who can use it, and usually much cheaper than those with lesser stats and wierd requirements.
On off Switch

This Thing basically has an on/off switch, either full powered or no power.

To this charm, "Hungry" basically means "will automatically eat something from your inventory." The thing will actually turn on and give me stats for a few minutes b4 it eats another patty melt.

Just saying this so you know, that you can get stats from this without even getting spammed. A Ranger/Druid/Bard ect with forage is a really good idea.
Recommended Level of 60

Although this has a recommended level of 60, this charm will give the max stats at lvl 1. I have confirmed this on a lvl 4 Warrior, lvl 44 Monk, and lvl 33 Rogue.
Great for Rangers/Druid

I have one on my Ranger works great. The stats showed up somewhere between out of food and hungry. Then I forage some food, the stats remain while I'm not hungry but still out of food. I have not noticed any holes, as of yet, in the stats doing it this way.

Still nice to have if you run out of your stat food for some reason...Like prices for ingredients going to bizarre heigths as they tend to do from time to time..veggies for 50pp a piece etc.

Looks like a pic of Bristlebanes Party Platter!! In fact it is like the stats from that food. Some kind of joke from the devs. No way is it better than a maxxed charm WITH stat food.

I have one of these. The stats are absolute. They turn on when you're hungry, off when you aren't. They don't build up as you get hungrier.

Thanks for the stats info, I was debating if this was worth the trouble. To me it isn't due to my play style (I box my rogue) but otherwise pretty nice stats. Can filter the message spam to another window though. Btw, I have no idea why this posted above yours instead of in reply to yours.

The stats you see listed are the max stats.. I can't tell if they go up if you get "more" hungry or not since I put all my food in the bank and walked away from the computer for an hour. I came back and fiddled with it, and as far as I can tell, all this info is correct. One thing to note, however, is that you stop regening HP, mana and Endurance if you get too hungry, so be sure you can always at least bum some from your friends.

Another good idea is to carry around a spit, and just make food whenever you want regen...just find a recipe without edible ingredients.

My SK used to make Edible Goo in a spit, but then one of the ingredients got taken off all the NPC merchants so it wasn't as good a choice. So I switched to filleted lion (lion meat plus a filleting knife, the knife is reusable), which is harder to make but I've gotten my baking skill up over 100 at this point, which means my baker trophy summons 8-slot WR bags, sorta handy.

Plus lion fillets don't gross out the rest of my group when they see the messages saying what food I'm making. :)
