I'm not sure if it's MQable, but I imagine it would be since you turn it and 3 other items in for a pattern to make a helm.
The tear is not for epic 2.0 directly; it's for epic 1.5
Been camping 6 spawn points for just over 6 hours (30 min spawn). Out of 72 chances for the Ailing Walrus, I have found 0.

All new quest from oow (including epics) are NOT mquestable. If you try to hand in 1 of the pieces you get a message saying u must turn in all quest pieces at one time to finish this quest etc.

yes it is part of the epic 2.0, the NPC sais that you need a tear, and we found that it comes from SG
