just got this today, and after 55 levels of seeing in human vision, the Vision improvements alone are worth the raid points i spent on it, however, the 30 ac, 20 mr, 5 to all other resists, and Customisable is NICE. Now all i gotta do is figure out how to Customise it )

Rogue speant 10pts today on brell so it wouldn't rot.There is a armorer right near where the king spawns who will customize for you if faction is not dstroyed.

It has no graphic when it's first dropped. But it can be customized (from any NPC that can customize hats).

This won't go to the most greedy player cause the most greedy player won't want it. People kill dain for the belt not the helm, this helm is crap, it doesn't have hp or sta, it will most likely goto some lucky newbie or alt. No one really wants to waste their points on something like this.

If you are capable of getting this item, you are already in a guild that has a point system. You dont all just /ran 1000 to see who gets it. Its either a point system or reward, and usually the former. Put down the stupid debates, thats how it works.

Don't hold me to this, but if you go into Skyshrine up to the large room with the armor-quest wyverns (on the way to Yelinak), you'll see a large wyvern just as you enter. He's 58+ (RTM at 56). If you go up to him and work the conversation, he'll give you a list of helms you can hand to him. I believe I remember the Frostreaver's crown among them. I'd imagine if your faction is good enough to do the SS armor quests that you could receive the custom graphics (I'm max ally, so I can't say for sure how high it has to be).

Sorry for the interruption here but uh... No, you don't know a whole heckuva lot about Monks.
"monks have a TON of all/all low weight high ac items in velious." My friend, what are you smoking and where can I aquire some? I WISH we had a wide selection of low weight high AC items. But we don't. They're a very, very vast minority when it comes to items. Many of these items are only available to the elite as well for that matter. I'm a 55 Monk, I'm not in Afterlife or Forsaken Realm (the two uberest guilds on the Mithaniel Marr server for those of you who don't know) and these are the guilds that get loot like that. It's not something you see every Monk and his little brother Jimmy sporting around Freeport.
So don't dare say that a Ranger is more deserving than a Monk or Rogue for this item. It just plain isn't so. Look at your upscale AC items and look at ours. The AC just isn't there. Same for Rogues, bless their black little thieving hearts. I'd venture to say you should be allowed to roll, as should everyone that would genuinely use this crown. But you take no priority as a Ranger.

What True sight does is it makes you Always face True north. the duaration is 45 minutes. its really usfull for walking in a strait line north.

I would think it is see invis. Maybe a combo of see invis and infravision/ultravision. Would be my educated guess

Why would a caster want/need a high MR? Due to the fact that a spell that would take 1/3 to 1/2 life from a warrior will kill a caster. Resist gear isn't class specific, we all want to resist/partial resist those big nasties. But yes, I could see everyone rolling for this... =)

I agree with the above, your forsaken realms, and not to leave last Afterlife's can kill Dain, well let me assure you that they already have it down who will loot what, depending on who raids most often and needs what... and that is what makes them uber, not like the everyday LoIO booty looters rollin on copper amulets =P
