I killed all of Crushbone and got 0 orc scalps. Then I went to Highpass and got 3 in 10 kills. I think they may have corrected the drops for the Captain Ashland quest. I am on Throneblade progression server

i have only seen Orc scalps drop in Crushbone, HHPass and Kith forest. I can't remember ever seeing them drop anywhere else. They might have changed it. <shrug>
Best place I have found to farm scalps is Crushbone. Have spent many, many hours there farming scalps and belts for faction, with my Iksar Monk.

What is one way i can raise my faction to be able tot turn these in to Capt. in HPH?
You can accomplish that by killing a raider in North and South Karana. There's a good, reasonably manageable number of them and they respawn pretty quickly.

Oki, I have some kind of LITTLE problem, me and My friend we have to much ***cough*** played *cough* with some EC/FP guards **cough**cough**, so, we are ... mmm... KOS to Freeport Militia :)

Ok, as far as I know the easiest place to collect "ORC SCALPS", (not deathfist or orc pawn scalps) is in Crushbone. However there is a lot of cunfusion as to which scalps exactly work for the gold/experience/faction boost involved in this quest.
Can anyone please confirm wether (or not) the scalps from Crushbone work for this quest (and if so, do you get exp gold and faction)?
I have tons of scalps in the bank from CB and I need faction boosts with all those nasty guards without ruining my standing with priests of marr and knights of truth. This seems to be the only easy way to do that.

Orc scalps from Crushbone definitely work with Captain Ashlan in High Pass. I raised my faction from KOS to dubious with Corrupt Qeynos Guards, from indifferent to Ally with High Pass Guards, and apprehensive to warmly with Freeport Militia, turning in CB scalps in HP.
I don't think they differentiate between the scalps from the different orcs. They are all just "orc scalps" (not CrushBone Orc Scalps or Deathfist Orc Scalps), and should work in the quest.

These scalps (in CB) are used for the bard newbie armor quests Tranquilsong plate armor
With the giant patch a week or so ago, it said that:
Orcs can now be dismembered
After that, ppl began finding "Orc Scalps" or Orc Pawns and Centurions in Gfay and Crushbone.
These Scalps, unlike the ones found on Antonica, are worthless to merchants.

The orc scalps that I collected in CB will work for turning in to CPT Ashlan in Highpass. Well, will sort of work. You'll get confirmed cash, no noticable experience and I have yet to determine the faction change. I turned in 61 scalps as a 13th level ranger.
There must be a better use for them than the long trip for about 25 plat...

is there a quest for the orc lumberjack sword.
Deathfist scalps can only be used in a lowbie monk head band quest in freeport monk guild. Orc scalps however looks exactly the same but the difference is in their name. DF scalps are found in west comms, east comms, west and east fp. Orc scalps to my knowledge are only found in High pass.

Is there a quest involving the deathfist pawn scalps?

The scalps being refered to by this quest are found up at High Hold Pass. They are not the same thing as the deathfist scalps which are found in several other places. As far as I know only the scalps from the orcs at the pass are the ones accepted.

Um is there a difference between a Deathfist Pawn Scalp, and an Orc Scalp? need some clarificaion here.
