Our tale did not start with so much sorrow. The good cheer as we banded together with our ale and stew on the Queen of Thorns. Our dreams and promises of victory. Our hopes.
Until now, we were true to our claims. We triumphed. But now our numbers are falling away and our way looks grim.
I can feel the light of my own eyes fading like an ended wick.
I have hoped for so long to make my way down the mountain and cheer for our victorous crew -- one to never be forgotten and one to be heralded.
I hope one of this great party survives to return with good tidings to our friends and family, but our numbers are too thin I fear...and so is my blood...
